Las historias de asesinato son algo que aprendí a disfrutar y a ver de otra forma dentro de esta situación, pero bueno esta situación me permitió leer unos cuantos libros los cuales son muy interesantes y ampliar un poco mi capacidad lectora, empecemos con Frenesí de Arthut La Bern. Este libro fue escrito en 1966, la obra cuyo título original es Frenezy y fue traducido por Pilar Giralt de la Editorial La Montaña Mágica y R. B. A. Proyecto Editoriales, S. A. 1987.

La historia inicia contándonos la historia de una persona un poco desafortunada, nada más y nada menos que la del jefe de escuadrón Richard Anthony Ian Blamey, que trabajaba de barman en un local de Londres entre Piccadilly Circus y Leicester Square llamada el Milagro Moteado el cual después de haber tomado antes de tiempo una copa de licor debido a distintos aspectos que ese día le establecieron, entre ellos el recordar sus momentos de gloria en la vida de aviador de la corona, la muerte de su madre, hace una semana atrás y la cual culpaba de forma directa a su hijo por mantenerla en una situación precaria y la cual la llevo a la muerte y por último la muerte de su amigo de la Guerra Larry Wellintong quien además de su amigo había sido su primer artillero en las misiones de guerra.

A través de esta vamos conociendo además a un adinerado apostador llamado Bob Rusk cuyo apodo es Bizcocho, apostador de profesión y que había amasado una fortuna con juegos de azar y otras grandes trampas, a la ex esposa de Blamey, la exitosa Brenda Blamey, dueña de la Agencia Matrimonial de Brenda Blamey la cual es asesinada por un extraño que, dentro de su oficina le quito la vida de forma cruel después de haber compartido un día entero con su ex esposo y lo cual lo convierte en el principal sospechoso del crimen.

The story begins by telling us the story of a somewhat unfortunate person, nothing more and nothing less than the squadron leader Richard Anthony Ian Blamey, who worked as a bartender in a local London between Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square called the Speckled Miracle which after having taken before time a glass of liquor due to various aspects that day set him, Among them the memory of his moments of glory in the life of crown aviator, the death of his mother, a week ago and which he blamed directly to his son for keeping her in a precarious situation and which led to her death and finally the death of his friend of the War Larry Wellintong who besides his friend had been his first gunner in the war missions.

Through this we also meet a wealthy gambler named Bob Rusk whose nickname is Biscuit, gambler by profession and who had amassed a fortune with gambling and other big cheats, Blamey's ex-wife, the successful Brenda Blamey, owner of Brenda Blamey's Marriage Agency which is killed by a stranger who, inside his office cruelly took her life after having shared a whole day with her ex-husband and which makes him the main suspect of the crime.

Además de esto conocemos la historia detrás de la separación de su ex esposa y este, sus amoríos con Barbara Milligan, sus embrollos con la corona inglesa, además la decadente vida del protagonista a través de sus ojos, como sus influencias directas con sus amistades Johnny Dring-PorterHouse, la recién conocida Hetty Dring-PorterHouse, Jenny Page y un aliado el cual no esperaba Tim Oxford el detective que fue asignado al asesinato de su ex esposa.

Cabe destacar que adicionalmente la historia gira en torno al escape del protagonista a Paris con ayuda de Johnny y Hetty Dring-PorterHouse mientras Tim Oxford realiza su investigación del asesinato tanto de Brenda Blamey y Barbara Milligan, para finalizar en el juicio injusto de Richard Blamey, que a pesar de haber demostrado que era inocente el presidio lo sentencia a la horca.

In addition to this we know the story behind the separation of his ex-wife and this, his love affairs with Barbara Milligan, his entanglements with the English crown, plus the decadent life of the protagonist through his eyes, as his direct influences with his friends Johnny Dring-PorterHouse, the newly known Hetty Dring-PorterHouse, Jenny Page and an ally who did not expect Tim Oxford the detective who was assigned to the murder of his ex-wife.

It should be noted that additionally the story revolves around the protagonist's escape to Paris with the help of Johnny and Hetty Dring-PorterHouse while Tim Oxford conducts his investigation of the murder of both Brenda Blamey and Barbara Milligan, to end in the unfair trial of Richard Blamey, who despite having shown that he was innocent the prison sentences him to hang.

• Barbara Jean Milligan (Babs) es la mesera del Milagro Moteado, la cual se siente atraída por el protagonista y la cual inicia una relación amorosa con él, la cual no dura mucho tiempo pues es asesinada por un individuo el cual ya era conocido por esta del Milagro Moteado, ya que era cliente, además de conocer aspectos fundamentales tanto de ella como del protagonista y del crimen contra la ex esposa de este.
• Bob Rusk (Bizcocho): un joven caza fortuna que apuesta en las carreras de caballo, esto tomando en consideración solamente los consejos pagos de los dueños de caballos, pero que en el fondo esconde temibles secretos.
• Brenda Blamey: Ex aviadora del servicio ingles que se casó con el veterano de guerra Richard Blamey y paso por un proceso de divorcio con el debido principalmente a un proceso de bancarrota que paso este en sus mocedades y que antes de ser asesinada era una prestigiosa preparadora de bodas y de servicio nupcial.
• Felix Hope-Forsythe: el ex jefe del protagonista en la cantina el Milagro Moteado, este acusa al protagonista de sospechas de asesinato debido a que tuvieron rencillas en tiempos anteriores y además tenia celos de este con respecto a la relación de coqueteo que poseía con la mesera Barbara Milligan.
• Hetty Dring-PorterHouse: esposa de Johnny Dring-PorterHouse, es la última que ve además del protagonista a Babs y la cual defiende a capa y espada con su reputación al protagonista.
• Jenny Page: amiga del matrimonio Dring-PorterHouse y que busca ayudar al protagonista en su estadía en París, luego durante su proceso de juicio le lleva comida y cuida de el en la celda.
• Johnny Dring-PorterHouse: uno de los amigos de la guerra del protagonista y el cual ayuda a escapar de Inglaterra a París a su amigo y el cual le propone trabajar para este en su taberna.
• Lawrence Larry Wellintong: uno de los amigos durante la guerra del protagonista y el cual se sospecha que se suicidó en la cárcel del palacio real de Inglaterra con su propia corbata, pero el protagonista sospecha que no fue homicidio sino suicidio.
• Monica Barling: secretaria de Brenda Blamey, además de quien ve al protagonista el día anterior al asesinato de esta y al día siguiente, estableciendo la posible vinculación de este con la muerte de su jefa, además de ser una de las testigos durante su juicio, la cual sufre una vuelta inesperada en la historia.
• Richard Anthony Ian Blamey: El protagonista de la historia el cual es acusado de ser un próximo asesino en serie, acusación la cual es totalmente errónea y se basa en la malinterpretación de las evidencias y de las malas conjeturas a las cuales llego la secretaria de Brenda Blamey y del deseo de apresurar la investigación por parte de los jefes del mortuorio Tim Oxford.
• Señora Blamey: es la madre del protagonista la cual vivió las glorias de este en su juventud, pero que en el momento de ejecutarse los hechos recién había muerto y culpaba a este de la situación precaria por la cual pasaba.
• Tim Oxford: es el principal detective y jefe de homicidios de Scotland Yards, el cual tiene una eficiencia del 95% de resolución de los casos a los cuales ha sido asignado durante su estadía dentro de las fuerzas.

• Barbara Jean Milligan (Babs) is the waitress of the Milagro Moteado, which is attracted to the protagonist and which begins a love affair with him, which does not last long because it is killed by an individual who was already known by this of the Milagro Moteado, as it was a customer, besides knowing fundamental aspects of both her and the protagonist and the crime against the ex-wife of this.
• Bob Rusk (Biscuit): a young fortune hunter who bets on horse races, taking into consideration only the paid advice of the horse owners, but who deep down hides fearsome secrets.
• Brenda Blamey: Former aviator of the English service who married the war veteran Richard Blamey and went through a divorce process with him mainly due to a bankruptcy process that he went through in his youth and that before being murdered was a prestigious wedding and bridal service preparer.
• Felix Hope-Forsythe: the protagonist's former boss at the Spotted Miracle saloon, he accuses the protagonist of suspicion of murder because they had quarrels in earlier times and was jealous of him with respect to the flirtatious relationship he had with Barbara Milligan.
• Hetty Dring-PorterHouse: wife of Johnny Dring-PorterHouse, she is the last one to see Babs besides the main character and who defends the main character with her reputation.
• Jenny Page: friend of the Dring-PorterHouse couple and who seeks to help the protagonist in his stay in Paris, then during his trial process brings him food and takes care of him in the cell.
• Johnny Dring-PorterHouse: one of the protagonist's wartime friends who helps his friend escape from England to Paris and offers to work for him in his tavern.
• Lawrence Larry Wellintong: one of the protagonist's friends during the war and who is suspected to have committed suicide in the prison of the royal palace of England with his own tie, but the protagonist suspects that it was not murder but suicide.
• Monica Barling: Brenda Blamey's secretary, who sees the protagonist the day before and the day after her murder, establishing the possible link of this with the death of his boss, besides being one of the witnesses during his trial, which suffers an unexpected turn in the story.
• Richard Anthony Ian Blamey: The protagonist of the story who is accused of being an upcoming serial killer, accusation which is totally wrong and is based on the misinterpretation of the evidence and the bad guesses to which Brenda Blamey's secretary arrived and the desire to rush the investigation by the bosses of the Tim Oxford mortuary.
• Mrs. Blamey: is the mother of the protagonist who lived the glories of this in his youth, but at the time of the execution of the facts had just died and blamed him for the precarious situation for which he was going through.
• Tim Oxford: is the main detective and head of homicide at Scotland Yards, who has a 95% efficiency in solving the cases to which he has been assigned during his stay in the force.

Esta novela me sorprende por el sentido por el cual puede ser transgredida la imagen de un hombre de gran reputación debido a una mal información o mejor dicho un chisme mal infundado por parte de una persona la cual siquiera estaba segura de la información. Cabe destacar que adicionalmente una característica fundamentada de esta obra en mi opinión personal es la estructura de la época en la cual la sociedad inglesa era muy sofisticada y que por simples apariencias o malos comentarios podían sentenciar a un inocente.
Me fascino en lo particular el hecho de que la novela revele tantos aspectos personales y psíquicos de los personajes, pues establece un perfil completo de los gustos, disgustos, aficiones y se diría las motivaciones principales por las cuales son enfocados los protagonistas.

This novel surprises me because of the sense in which the image of a man of great reputation can be transgressed due to misinformation or rather an ill-founded gossip on the part of a person who was not even sure of the information. It is worth mentioning that in addition, in my personal opinion, a fundamental characteristic of this work is the structure of the time in which the English society was very sophisticated and that by simple appearances or bad comments they could sentence an innocent person.
I am particularly fascinated by the fact that the novel reveals so many personal and psychological aspects of the characters, as it establishes a complete profile of the likes, dislikes, hobbies and I would say the main motivations for which the protagonists are focused.

La novela en mi opinión personal es un enfoque a como una persona puede ser destruida en cuanto a la reputación y todas sus estructuras por un mal comentario o una mala información, además de que se fundamenta esta estructura en la idea de inculpar a un inocente por su estatus social solamente por cumplir números de resolución o mentiras de estirpes sociales, tomando consideración al asesino y su relación con la sociedad de inglesa.

Nota final: si tantas coincidencias no hubieran sido suscitadas en una estructura de tiempo tan corta, si el hombre no hubiera buscado similitud entre sus amores y no hubiera cometido errores tan básicos durante su juventud de ir contra la corriente, quizás y solo quizás las tres mujeres estuvieran vida y la historia fuera otra, pero como no, el asesino se hizo con sus deseos y su misión.

The novel in my personal opinion is an approach to how a person can be destroyed in terms of reputation and all its structures by a bad comment or bad information, in addition to the fact that this structure is based on the idea of framing an innocent person by his social status only to meet numbers of resolution or lies of social lineages, taking into consideration the murderer and his relationship with the English society.

Final note: if so many coincidences had not been aroused in such a short time structure, if the man had not looked for similarities between his loves and had not made such basic mistakes during his youth of going against the current, maybe and only maybe the three women would be alive and the story would be different, but of course, the murderer got his wishes and his mission.
