I find him interesting mainly due to his track record and turned into a marxist.

I wonder what makes his communism different from typical asian communism back in the day. Take it for example, the Vietnamese and their communism. Also he once argued that islam could co-exist with communism but at the same time, historically it was also the Islamic groups that eventually took parts in killing the communist supporters 😅. I am sure he also received opposition from the typical european communist at the time.
