I am very happy to share with you again, as many of you already know my first post here was about the first book of the Harry Potter saga and now I have finished reading the second book of this saga, Harry Potter and the Chamber of the Secrets and today I am here to share with you some of my opinions about this book.

As I mentioned in my previous post, until now I had only seen the Harry Potter movies and I had never read any of the books. In my opinion, this second book is pretty well adapted in the movie, I didn't feel too much difference with respect to the movie, obviously the book has a lot of details that are not in the movie (probably because of the time factor), like for example, I was wondering (and it sounds silly or that I want to know every little detail), and I don't know if it will be spoiler, but, I was wondering how Hermione being the daughter of non-wizarding parents, could buy her textbooks in Diagon Alley if they don't accept money from the non-magical world in the magical world and it turns out that the simple answer to that was that her parents exchanged their money in Gringotts, the bank of the magical world, it was a pretty simple answer, but it was good to know that detail.

Como mencioné en mi post anterior, yo hasta ahora solo habia visto las películas de Harry Potter y no habia leido nunca alguno de los libros. En mi opinión, éste segundo libro está bastante bien adaptado en la película, no sentí demasiada diferencia con respecto a la película, obviamente el libro tiene muchisimos detalles que en la película no están (seguramente por el factor tiempo), como por ejemplo, yo me preguntaba (y sonará algo tonto o que quiero saber cada mínimo detalle), y no se si será spoiler, pero, yo me preguntaba como Hermione siendo hija de padres no magos, podía comprar sus libros de texto en el Callejón Diagon si no aceptan dinero del mundo no mágico en el mundo mágico y resulta que la simple respuesta a eso era que sus padres cambiaban su dinero en Gringotts, el banco del mundo mágico, fue una respuesta bastante sencilla, pero fue bueno saber ese detalle.

Speaking of characters, Professor Gilderoy Lockhart (I hope I spelled that right), is still a complete loser with a complex of a really powerful wizard, but I feel that in the book that aspect is reflected much more than in the movie. On the other hand, I'm also liking a little bit the Draco Malfoy character from the books, he's the typical bully rich kid, but he has more hilarious expressions in the book, he has quite elaborate offenses and the truth was quite funny to me, another thing I can notice here, is that Ron Weasley doesn't seem to me to be as stupid as in the movies.

Hablando de personajes, el profesor Gilderoy Lockhart (espero haberlo escrito bien), sigue siendo un completo perdedor con complejo de un mago realmente poderoso, pero siento que en el libro se refleja mucho más que en la película ese aspecto. Por otro lado, también me está gustando un poco el personaje de Draco Malfoy de los libros, es el típico niño rico bully, pero tiene expresiones más hilarantes en el libro, tiene ofensas bastante elaboradas y la verdad se me hizo bastante gracioso, otra cosa que puedo notar aquí, es que Ron Weasley no me parece que sea tan estúpido como en las películas.

Something that I found very funny is that in the chapter of the bookstore where Lockhart was signing books, there was a confrontation between the Weasley's dad and Draco's dad, they had some ideological differences and everything ended in blows, in the movie this happens, but without ending in a physical confrontation between these two characters.

Algo que me pareció muy gracioso es que en el capítulo de la librería donde Lockhart estaba firmando libros, hubo una confrontación entre el papá de los Weasley y el papá de Draco, tuvieron algunas diferencias ideologicas y todo terminó en los golpes, en la película pasa esto, pero sin terminar en la confrontación física entre éstos dos personajes.

Something that I have to point out is that in the book the interest that Ginny Weasley has towards Harry is better captured, and I really hope that in the following books their love relationship is better developed.
