¡Hola amigos lectores! Hoy me paso por acá para desearles un gran inicio de año y para hacerles el resumen de mis mejores lecturas del 2025. En esta categoría entran todos a los que les puse 5 estrellas porque sino se haría super extenso y, si bien tuve varias buenas lecturas, sentí que a algunas les faltó algo más. Bueno, sin más preámbulos, empecemos.
Hello, readers! Today I'm stopping by to wish you a great start to the year and to give you a summary of my favorite reads from 2025. This category includes all the books I gave 5 stars to, because otherwise it would be too long, and although I had several good reads, I felt that some of them were missing something. Well, without further ado, let's get started.
La teoría del amor de Ali Hazelwood ~ Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood
Hasta ahora todos los libros de la autora me vienen gustando mucho. Este en lo personal se me hizo muy maduro. La historia es simple, pero es lindo que haya sido así y que no fuera dramática, todo se arreglo a tiempo. La verdad es que quede super enamorada del protagonista, Jack Smith, y Elsie también me pareció una buena protagonista femenina.
So far, I have really enjoyed all of this author's books. Personally, I found this one to be very mature. The story is simple, but I like that it was that way and that it wasn't dramatic; everything worked out in the end. The truth is that I fell head over heels in love with the main character, Jack Smith, and I also thought Elsie was a good female lead.
Alas de sangre de Rebecca Yarros ~ Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros
La fantasía es mi género favorito y si hay romance mucho mejor, pero la verdad es que quise leer este libro por los dragones y los amé por completo. Sabía que me iba a gustar, pero no tenía idea de que tanto. Ademas de los dragones (los amo en serio), tiene slow burn, me fascina cuando el romance se va construyendo de a poco. Violet como protagonista me encantó y ni que hablar de Xaden Riorson, y de los otros personajes geniales que hay en la historia. La historia también es muy atrapante y te mantiene en vilo la mayor parte del tiempo. La verdad es que fue una buenísima lectura, espero este año leer los que le siguen.
Fantasy is my favorite genre, and if there's romance, even better, but the truth is that I wanted to read this book because of the dragons, and I absolutely loved them. I knew I was going to like it, but I had no idea how much. In addition to the dragons (I really love them), it has a slow burn, and I love it when the romance builds up little by little. I loved Violet as the protagonist, not to mention Xaden Riorson and the other great characters in the story. The story is also very captivating and keeps you on the edge of your seat most of the time. The truth is that it was a great read, and I hope to read the sequels this year.
La asistenta de Freida McFadden ~ The Housemaid by Freida McFadden
Leí este libro para llegar bien a su adaptación cinematográfica y me encantó. Me mantuvo muy enganchada, la historia es entretenida y tiene unos tremendos plot twists. Me gustó la manera en que estuvo narrada con los diferente pov entrando en escenas y viendo la historia desde la perspectiva de las dos mujeres, la de Millie y la de Nina. El final fue bastante genial, estoy ansiando leer los próximos.
I read this book to prepare for the film adaptation and I loved it. It kept me hooked, the story is entertaining and has some tremendous plot twists. I liked the way it was narrated with the different points of view entering scenes and seeing the story from the perspective of the two women, Millie and Nina. The ending was pretty cool, I can't wait to read the next ones.
La química del amor de Ali Hazelwood ~ Love on The Brain by Ali Hazelwood
Otro libro de Ali, este lo reseñe hace poco y es uno de mis favoritos. El libro me hizo vivir una montaña rusa de emociones y me dio todo lo que necesitaba y mucho más. La verdad es que sucedio de todo en esta lectura, además, es el más divertido que leí de la autora hasta el momento, las carcajadas que di mientras lo leían lo valen. Aunque también me hizo sufrir bastante, pero eso también me gustó. Así que la única queja acerca del libro es que no existe un Levi Ward. Por lo demás todo 10/10.
Another book by Ali, I reviewed this one recently and it's one of my favorites. The book took me on an emotional roller coaster ride and gave me everything I needed and more. The truth is that everything happened in this book, and it's also the most entertaining one I've read by this author so far. The laughter I had while reading it was worth it. Although it also made me suffer quite a bit, I liked that too. So my only complaint about the book is that Levi Ward doesn't exist. Otherwise, it's a 10/10.
Bueno amigos, estas fueron mis lecturas 5 estrellas del 2025. No fueron tantas, pero cada una de ellas valió totalmente la pena. Amé todos estos libros y los otros que descubrí, estoy muy agradecida por el año lector que tuve. Estoy segura que el que sigue será mucho mejor.

Well, friends, these were my 5-star reads of 2025. There weren't that many, but each one was totally worth it. I loved all these books and the others I discovered, and I am very grateful for the year of reading I had. I'm sure the next one will be even better.
