Catcher on the Rye

in Hive Book Club5 months ago

A long time classic (and fittingly so). J.D. Salinger really created an unforgettable character here. That book was filled with a lot of relation to the character attainable today. Holden Caulfield was a well developed character that although somewhat lax towards life was very relatable and real to me.

I will share my thoughts later on. If you come across this, what did you think of Holden and his familial background, his manner of grief management and how that touched his approach to life.
