Muy buenas tardes queridos amigos de Hive, hoy en esta gran comunidad de Hive Book Club les quiero hablar sobre mi libro favorito de Paulo Coelho, se trata de "La Quinta Montaña" una novela publicada en 1996 y que dejó cautivada a todos los lectores. A mi desde la primera vez que lo leí me encantó, sobretodo porque trata sobre la historia de uno de mis personajes preferidos de la Biblia, el Profeta Elías. Sin embargo no sé si esta historia pueda o no ser cierta, pero deja un excelente mensaje y muy interesante que nos servirá toda nuestra vida, además de que estos mensajes también se encuentran en otras historias de la Biblia.

Very good afternoon dear friends of Hive, today in this great community of Hive Book Club I want to talk about my favorite book by Paulo Coelho, it is "The Fifth Mountain" a novel published in 1996 and that captivated all readers. I loved it from the first time I read it, especially because it is about the story of one of my favorite characters from the Bible, the Prophet Elijah. However, I don't know if this story may or may not be true, but it leaves an excellent and very interesting message that will serve us all our lives, besides these messages are also found in other stories of the Bible.

Esta historia comienza en Israel, cuando gobernaba el rey Acab y la reina Jezabel, un tiempo en que en Israel reinaba la idolatría a baal, lo que en la biblia se cuenta en 4 capítulos, el autor Paulo Coelho logra recopilar una historia más detallada de 238 páginas las cuales están divididas en dos partes, la primera parte trata sobre la primera estancia de Elías en Israel, desde su nacimiento hasta que Dios mediante un ángel da la orden al profeta de marcharse de Israel hasta que el aprenda a reconstruir. La segunda parte trata sobre la vida que llevó Elías en el exilio, como muchos saben, vivió un tiempo oculto en una cueva y otro tiempo con la viuda de Sarepta y su hijo, aquí se detallan todas sus oraciones a Dios, sus preguntas, sus miedos, sus alegrías y tristezas, además de todo el aprendizaje que tuvo que pasar antes de volver a su tierra, Israel. A mi parecer, este libro debió haber tenido tres partes, para mi la última parte debió ser su regreso a Israel y como Elías se enfrentó a los profetas de baal por mandato de Dios.

The second part deals with Elijah's life in exile, as many know, he lived a time hidden in a cave and another time with the widow of Zarephath and her son, here are detailed all his prayers to God, his questions, his fears, his joys and sorrows, plus all the learning he had to go through before returning to his land, Israel. In my opinion, this book should have had three parts, for me the last part should have been his return to Israel and how Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal by God's command.

A mi esta historia en la Biblia siempre me ha encantado, pero el leer esta historia me dejó otra perspectiva de la historia del Profeta Elías, esta novela lo hace ver una persona más asequible, una persona común y corriente como nosotros al que Dios le encargó una misión de vida para ayudar a su pueblo Israel. Como dije anteriormente, no sé si esta historia sea cierta o sea ficción, pero a mí me ha enseñado muchísimo, por ejemplo a tener esperanza, a pesar de lo difícil que se vea todo hay que tener fe, aunque todo a nuestro alrededor quede destruido, la fe mueve montañas. Si leen el libro descubrirán los altibajos que tuvo Elías como cualquier persona normal y la fe inquebrantable que tuvo a pesar de todo lo que pasó.

I have always loved this story in the Bible, but reading this story gave me another perspective of the story of the Prophet Elijah, this novel makes him look like a more accessible person, an ordinary person like us to whom God entrusted a life mission to help his people Israel. As I said before, I don't know if this story is true or fiction, but it has taught me a lot, for example to have hope, in spite of how difficult everything seems, we must have faith, even if everything around us is destroyed, faith moves mountains. If you read the book you will discover the ups and downs that Elijah had like any normal person and the unshakable faith he had in spite of everything that happened.
