9 out of 10 is a pretty high score, and judging from the books synopsis, I'd say it's pretty worth it.
I'm a sucker for vivid images like this one so I find it interesting
In theory, it's far from being a profound life changing book, but I thought it deserved such a high score because of its original storytelling and relatable characters, specially because it seemed to me like the author did a really good job on picturing them as "real" people (you could definitely imagine them being a real band) and I think that there should be space for creative and high quality reliable books that will not necessarily change your life. However,I hope you like it, though I don't know if you will enjoy it as much as I did. In my case, I would definitely read it twice (I loved the storytelling, I must say)
