When I was going through a miscarriage for the second time, I did not know where else to turn. I was in an extremely dark place, in an immense amount of pain... The only thing that truly brought me comfort was the Word of the Lord; I did my best to tune out the contractions and focus on my Bible.
I decided to read from the Book of Psalms. For those who are unfamiliar, the Book of Psalms is a collection of prayers and songs dedicated to God's wonders. However, they are not all about praise and joy; there are psalms about grief, patience, strength, and worship. Faith is a neverending roller coaster of ups and downs, trust and doubts, hardships and peace...
The wonderful thing about Psalms is, there is a Psalm for everyone, for every occasion! 🙏
The Book is rather lengthy (150 Psalms expanding over 150 pages), so I have chosen some of my favorite passages from the first half of the Book. I may do a second part in the near future, but in the meantime, I hope that you will find some that speak to you! 🙏💛
