The Mysterious Child by Agha Maureen Book Review/Observation/Recommendation

The mysterious child is a very nice short story novel written by Agha Maureen Ezinne. The author of this book is just 12 years old still in her secondary school level. She is born from the family of Agha in Egwuta Ngodo village Afikpo North Local Government of Ebonyi State Nigeria. The book was published in 2024.

Before I proceed with the book as a professional librarian I noticed that the book is issued with ISB: 978-978-768-094-0 but has no publishers name and year of publication instead the publisher only wrote a phone number that is not supposed to be so. It is important for a book to have a complete publishers name and year of publication written so that it will help to promote the book. The mysterious child written by Agha Maureen Ezinne has 47 pages with with a good book cover. The publisher did a very good job using good images and a thick book cover.

To talk about the author she is just 12 years old still in her secondary school. As a professional librarian I was very shocked when she approached me with the book because seeing a teenage girl with such a good for the society through literature is something to be promoted. I am using this opportunity to let those of us here in Hive who can help promote this book for the little girl so that the book can go far should please assist. For me, I have already promised her family that I will see a way to assist the little girl by promoting the book online.

The book the mysterious child written by Agha Maureen is a Christian book that talks about how a family struggled to have a child but ended having it through the help of a goddess. The head of the family is Dymian who married to Jessica they all struggled to have a child despite how wealthy Dymian was they couldn't have a child of their own because of impatient, Dymian ended marrying a second wife while Jessica ended having three children after she visited a river goddess assistance but because she failed to meet all the river goddess demand to have the three children alive, the river goddess later took away the life of two living one child called Zara alive.

Because of the kind of spiritual power possessed by Zara her father Dymian rejected her but her mother Jessica later confessed to God before Zara became a normal human having a human thinking. Despite the evil things Zara did when before she became a true Christian God later blessed her as a Medical Doctor (Gynecologist). Because Dymian second wife child was in a serious health threat that no one was ready to assist but later it was Zara that helped to treat her and from they Zara father Dymian later pleaded with her for forgiveness.

The book is teaching Christians and other faith to always have faith in God and not other god because whatever that comes from other god and not the main God will never yield good fruit. The book also passes a lesson to married men never to push their wife into doing what they never planned for due to later child bearing.
