Whilst all of what @livesniper mentioned is utmost valuable, please don't hold yourself back to blog your experience and postpone an introduction. I've seen people do introductions later, and they are even more awesome, because those bloggers gained quality a lot, because they blogged on whatever was there for them to blog about first.
