The poetry of @josemalavem
"Solo una moneda" is like a simple trip on all six Greek rivers of the passing, of the transition. Acheron is the river of sadness and the poet is easily carrying us into this feeling as he pictures moods, sensations, visuals, just like Charon, the carrier, once did to make a slow passing-by for the "visitors" on his boat. The price is the same, a token for the journey. It might not be Hive or Leo or HBD, not BTC or ETH, but there's always a price for every action, even after life.
The painting of @artvik
The philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche gazed into the abyss (read: madness) and it stared back. Looking at the artwork in Waiting for a miracle, it feels like we are looking at the inner workings of someone’s scattered mind. For brief moments, we see familiar objects just to be swept away with the chaotic movement the painting forces upon us. It feels like we are witnessing a miracle, one in which meaning starts to form. Yet, at the same time, we are taken down by a wave of confusion. The artist's technique of creating movement carries us along the riverbanks of their imagination. However, with closer inspection, we can see this "madness in color" is only presented on top of a layer of black. That is, the madness or miracle is only a brief interlude. If one looks at the center of the painting for long enough, without being distracted by the surrounding chaos, it feels like the world is looking back at us.
The photography of @johannpiber
This week I had to decide between three posts, between wonderful macro photos of mushrooms, water, and minimalist landscapes of snowy plains. The decision was not very easy. I chose the creativity of water! I invite you to visit (and support) @johannpiber's fresh post. There you can see a variety of water shapes: water in a form of icicles, stalactites, crystal chandeliers, jewelry, soft sheep's yarn, splashes of emulsion or paint spots, salt, craquelures on canvas...check for yourself, I can't predict what you may see. In specific photographs, I can recognize the implementation of "diagonal rule," "the rule of thirds," the balance of dark and light, but is it really necessary to dissect the material in order to enjoy it? Sometimes it's vice versa.
The fiction of @universoperdido
The painting of @mohanraj
Rain in coconut farm. Our eyes meet a lonely figure on a rainy road. The trees draw vertical lines down, the road vanishes in the right-center, the telephone pole symbolizes the end. Everything in the artwork emphasizes and draws our eyes to the figure. Taking up only a small space, the solitude of this figure highlights the general feeling. The color choice also reveals this solemn attitude of the artist. We can smell the rain in this artwork, but we can also feel the need for others. That is, in the solitude of this figure, we feel the need to walk with to wherever the path is leading. All is not doom and gloom, as the end of the path is where the light is. Leading as if it were out of the dark coconut forest, at the end of the road (or at the end of the canvas) awaits a brighter future.

Thank you @fermentedphil & @mazquel for regularly visiting and voting on my paintings.
I feel lucky that my painting has been featured in this list of fantastic artworks. Hive has a long list of amazing talents and to be here I feel is sheer luck.
I owe a lot to @fermentedphil's imagination and description of my paintings which is way beyond what I ran through my mind while painting it.
Ivfeel happy my work has triggered such emotion in different people .. afterall that is what art is meant for.

No problem my friend! Do not worry about the deeper meaning, that is for us philosophers. Keep on producing quality art and posts! Cliche, but follow the Nike slogan: Just do it. But let me change it a bit: Just do it without thinking too much.
😂 🙏

Quite close... The palms are different and San Diego just has one row of palm trees..
