Esta publicación de hoy va a ser un poco diferente y me disculpan los amigos de Literatos, porque el contenido no es propiamente literario. Se trata, como lo dije en la publicación anterior, de una especie de addendum, de agregado o, incluso, de epílogo a la trilogía que llamé Un evento teatral, un vuelo y París.
Aunque prácticamente todo lo narrado vino de mi memoria, tuve a mano y pude hojear un cuaderno que usé durante el año de 1978, tanto para cuestiones laborales, como para anotaciones personales, uno que otro poema y muchas referencias sobre los tres episodios narrados acá con anterioridad.
A falta de fotografías, las cuales se fueron con el robo de la cámara, traigo del cuaderno algunas capturas que me parecieron curiosas, graciosas o expresivas.
Today's post is going to be a little different, and I apologize to the friends of Literatos, because the content is not properly literary. It is, as I said in the previous post, a sort of addendum, an appendix or even an epilogue to the trilogy I called A Theatrical Event, A Flight and Paris.
Although practically everything narrated here came from my memory, I had at hand and was able to leaf through a notebook that I used during the year 1978, both for work matters and for personal annotations, one or another poem and many references to the three episodes narrated here before.
In the absence of photographs, which were taken with the theft of the camera, I bring from the notebook some captures that I found curious, funny or expressive.

Junto a la lista completa del equipo que trabajó en la Expo, apareció hasta una foto dedicada, de una de las guías que dio pie al resto de esta historia, pues fue ella, Naghieli, quien junto a Laura, nos entusiasmaron a emprender el viaje a París.
Along with the complete list of the team that worked on the Expo, there was even a dedicated photo of one of the guides that gave rise to the rest of this story, since it was her, Naghieli, who together with Laura, got us excited about the trip to Paris.
En la segunda entrega de la trilogía les hablé de las severas turbulencias durante el vuelo. En medio de aquel ajetreo logramos fijar un bolígrafo a una de las partes rígidas del asiento y colocamos debajo el cuaderno, durante dos minuto y con ello registramos lo que dimos en llamar el "temblorograma". Estando sujeto el bolígrafo, no debía tener movimiento, pero los "sacudones" del avión sí lograron hacerlo. Como pueden ver en la imagen de abajo, también traté de hacer alguna ecuación, pero ya ni siquiera recuerdo qué variable estaba tratando de despejar...
In the second installment of the trilogy I told you about the severe turbulence during the flight. In the middle of that turbulence we managed to fix a pen to one of the rigid parts of the seat and placed the notebook underneath it for two minutes and with it we recorded what we called the " temblorogram" (something like shakeogram). With the pen attached, it should not have moved, but the "shaking" of the plane did. As you can see in the image below, I also tried to do some equation, but I don't even remember which variable I was trying to clear...
En el cuaderno hay transcripciones de conversaciones divertidas hechas en aquella ocasión, poemas, reflexiones y algunos pensamientos, como los que transcribo a continuación.
In the notebook there are transcriptions of funny conversations made on that occasion, poems, reflections and some thoughts, such as the ones I transcribe below.

Pero también era un buen acompañante en momentos de tertulia y en él se reflejaban todo tipo de emociones. Y se guardaron algunos recuerdos, como una pequeña hoja caída de un árbol en un café de los Campos Elíseos.

El día 23 de septiembre, faltando pocas horas para presentarme en el aeropuerto para el regreso a Venezuela, sentado en Botanique (el parque botánico de Bruselas), escribí el siguiente texto:

Creo que este viaje me fue muy provechoso por muchas razones. Empezando por la misma experiencia que da cualquier viaje. Luego las cosas que he visto y la convivencia con una clase media joven perdida en un abismo. Por suerte tuve la oportunidad de asistir a la Fête de L'Humanité, así pude ver la presencia de "otra sociedad", porque de haberme ligado solamente con esta juventud, estaría totalmente frustrado.
Las visitas culturales, la lectura mantenida en estos días, las conversaciones con Eduardo López Pérez, etc. creo que me han sido de gran utilidad.
Aproximadamente en 7 horas se supone que sale el vuelo a Caracas. No sé qué decir o escribir, pero siento que dejo una parte mía en Europa.
I think this trip was very profitable for me for many reasons. Starting with the same experience that any trip gives. Then the things I have seen and the coexistence with a young middle class lost in an abyss. Luckily I had the opportunity to attend the Fête de L'Humanité, so I could see the presence of "another society", because if I had been linked only with this youth, I would have been totally frustrated.
