Sometimes the shadows are replicas to scale of the object they copy, but other times (like in this photo) the image is disproportionate in the shadow and the aspect that remains is funny. In this case, even being my own shadow, I laughed, it reminded me of the story Daddy Long Legs by Jean Webster.

Oh yes I know that story Daddy Long Legs. I used to watched that in the television when I was a kid. Titled, Judy Abot.
