The Shadows catched in the Room - My entry of shadow contest 174

Hi everyone !

How's your weekend day?
I hope you are having a relaxing day !

These are shadows of objects in the kitchen corner of an apartment I rented for a few weeks while I was traveling alone in Ho Chi Minh City.
I have a hobby of traveling to many places to stay there for a while to experience life there. Ho Chi Minh city is a bustling city.
But I chose to stay there for quite a long time.

I liked this apartment I stayed in, just because it was painted in a pretty vintage yellow color, with a bathtub overlooking the city, and a cute little corner kitchen, full of coffee-making facilities (Because I'm a big fan of Vietnamese coffee, that's one of the main reasons I choose to stay here).

I like to see the shadows of the objects in the room when the morning of sunshine into the room. It feels like each object here has its own distinctive, independent shape, with its own personality.

While making coffee, looking from the corner of the kitchen to the far side of the busy and bustling city, my heart suddenly felt strangely peaceful. Have you ever sat in the corner of your room, sipping a cup of coffee, and then looking out over the city with the busy traffic?

I usually travel alone, stay alone in homestays or apartments for a random time, in a random place. (Because my friends are quite busy with work, it is difficult to come with me.) I don't want to clearly plan my trips, just pack up and go explore. However, I never felt lonely in every trip. Perhaps I always have an inseparable partner: it is the shadow of myself, and plus with the shadows of the objects I used to be friends with in the room.

Thank you for listening to my story. It's just my short story I remembered when I was seeing the old pictures. It's raining in here at the weekend day, So that I chose to stay at home and enjoy blogging.
