This is Mammoth lakes, California which is located off highway 395, we have camped somewhere in that area every year for nine years now. We came across this beautiful part of California with a rental RV and a map for fall colors and fell in love. We visit several lakes and campgrounds every year in our own RV now that we call Chester that we bought in 2011. We also have several restaurants we love to eat at and hot springs and fishing spots. Mammoth is well known for Devils Postpile which is just a short hike and Mammoth brewery which has awesome beer and food and has expanded since we've been going there. Enjoy these reflection photos.
It's hard to tell in this photo but this is a waterfall within the icy rocks.
