Hello to all, after a very busy summer, I'm back to show you some cool shadows.
Let's go #shadow hunting!!!
As we slowly creep into fall, we can see how the sun is changing its position. The shadows on our deck reflect that change. During the height of the summer months, I could see the shadows appear during the early morning hours as the sun rose directly on our front porch. Now with the season slowly pushing into autumn, I catch these #shadows in late morning.
As the seasons change, so do the shadows.
Our front porch is where we have our coffee each morning, even in the colder months. As the sun rises and shines through the trees we watch for shadows, always changing with the suns position and with the plants or decorations placed there.
This last shadow is of a cluster of sunflowers, cut down from our back garden, placed in a vase of water and ready for the birds to discover the yummy seeds from the flowers.
A late bloomer.
As the saying goes, that's all folks.

Hello my friend, @lizelle, great to hear from you, hope all is well.
The weather here has been just awesome, 70's during the day and 10 degrees or so cooler at night.
I know I have been a slacker in the #hive world, but life has been so busy since June, all good stuff, family vacations at the Jersey shore, visits from the grands, outdoor concerts and just this past weekend a trip to my daughter's house for baby Gianna's christening. Been putting the miles on my car for sure.
Add in the harvest and processing all the food, phew! I am exhausted just recalling it all. But life is good, everyone happy and healthy, that's all that really matters. Freezers are full and @thebigsweed is chopping and stacking the firewood.
Hope you are doing well, I think of you often.
Oh one more thing, I hate to ask but I want to know how to set up auto votes, I feel I could be supporting others even if I don't have time to read and vote. Whenever you have the time, thx

Gorgeous shadows! Bring on the fall...it is my favorite time of year. The morning ritual of coffee on the porch is a glorious way to start the day.
Watching the sun in constant seasonal change, small increments then suddenly you notice you have more or less daylight hours.
Like life we enjoy the sunny weather playing through the plants watching them grow. Children grow up and leave, when we look again feel time moving along rather quickly...
