reflections 251: reflections on a Christmas tree

Christmas in Norway involves a bit of shopping for gifts and what not, and wherever you go you are bound to find some Christmas trees all decorated with lights and bulbs and more. This elegently decked tree filled with bulbs was at a popular shopping mall in Tønsberg

some of the bulbs were matte but the shiny ones made reflections that are especially nice when viewed as a group among the white matte ones

when seen up close the reflections has a ghostly blur to them

there are inevitably some artificial trees that don't even try to resemble natural ones

and if you search enough you are bound to find reflections of the trees in shop windows

eventually i found a tree and bulbs that were more like what i had hoped to find

so here is my contest entry for this merriest of holiday seasons.
