Sometimes the dullest objects can surprise you with unexpected visual treats. A couple of weeks ago, while walking through the pine grove in the archeological park near the harbor of my hometown ...
... I stumbled upon this accidental piece of contemporary art. All that was needed to make me feel like being in an exhibition was some kind of written concept that could include words like " void", "identity", "sublime", "non-being", "civilization", "objecthood", or "globalization".
The shadows and the light shown in this opening shot were stored in a box.
A rusted power distribution cabinet that was lying near one of the paths in the middle of the park. The rust is a feature, not a bug. It's part of the styling. The cabinet is pretty new and in good shape. I'm pretty sure that will be functional soon. A meter or two further was a hole in the ground that I forgot to photograph.
Here you can peek through one of the slotted holes that allowed the creation of art inside the cabinet.
AND THAT'S IT. AS ALWAYS HERE ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK.
Interesting light patterns! Thanks for entering the shadow contest! 🌞
Fairplay, you've picked out some nice shots from nothing really - impressive !

Indeed, sometimes ordinary objects can become very arty when one looks slightly in a different angle at them.
Great inspirations you found @borjan
Have a wonderful evening 👋🏻😊

This is crazy in how lazy it is @borjan 😂😂
Indeed a nice picture 😗✨
@trumpman see a real lazy post here...
😄 A man must get lazy from time to time just to survive in this crazy world.
😂
Usually, I just look at your image from the normal view in the @ecency app, but this time I really had to look through the magnification link. Here I found your description very relate to what you said. I was particularly very interested in your phrase "identity void". It seems to current situation, where people are too concerned with hegemony but forget about identity.
I hope you don't mean alien of some sort when you mean void & globalization..👽
😀
Oh that's good to know.
