In English, there is one word for different berries - blueberries. But the berry that is depicted in the photo (Vaccinium uliginosum)refers to berries that grow in swamps. And there is another berry (Vaccinium myrtíllus) blueberry, which grows in pine forests. They have different tastes and in general they are different, although they are close relatives.

Vaccinium myrtillus is the one i know from child hood in the forrests, hense i thought it was a blueberry.
They look similar, but they are different berries with different flavors :)
