@crypto-shots is actually the account where we store the data in Hive (eg. new data for the 3D game - https://peakd.com/data/@crypto-shots/re-crypto-shots-r6mbgx).
The blog account is @cryptoshots.nft. Trying to find the time to get that going.
By the way, I have been giving away 1 hive account and delegations every day in my Discord 😎 -- they'll blog about us once we kick off our community.
I have thought in the past to code a tool to use the chain for compressed data (ZIP, BZIP, etc), like dropbox, but I quickly found I would not have enough HIVE (back then it was on STEEM) to even start anything useful.
But today with something like a side-chain to act as a bridge for the metadata and then link several connectors to different sources of data repo, such as IPFS, S3, etc... the idea would need to complement a data distributor/gateways that could maintain your data the way you wish, across any kind of technology.
These are just some "ideas" I had back then. But I never pursued more due to lack of not knowing more people for a team or having enough time to gain momentum. You guys seem very capable of doing lots of things around the chain. Would be happy to connect, know more and see if I can help on anything specifically.
Hey, just saw this. Would love to collab too! :)
