This gathering is a very special one, with lots of updates and geeky stuff to read. We have some news about the roadmap of ATX token and its continuous relationship with the AteXoras 🍺 Pub. But before we get there let's check out some cool stuff.

The Pub Admin dared to visit a real Pub! 🤣

That's right! And from what @forykw told us, it has been quite a long time since he didn't go out to meet some HIVE people. Onboarding aside, this kind of interaction is an important motivation of the AteXoras 🍺 Pub, hence, give it out a peek at both @omoitsanis and @dora381 posts recording some of these examples.

🎮 Hive Games

If you are around this ecosystem you might be noticing some sort of a 2022 trend on the most known HIVE games. We speculate that most of the new Splinterlands player's that arrived in the first months of the SPS Airdrop in 2021 are now progressively getting to know the other games and finding the immersive integrated HIVE ecosystem.

Some examples are:

If you haven't yet seen this video about some good practical information around what everyone calls Metaverse, then we would like to reference it. The tweet share from @forkyishere begins in a particular timestamp HIVE-focused point, but we would really encourage you to listen to the whole video. It's worth it...

💸 HIVE Post Rewards

Do you find it confusing (especially during these price fluctuation days) why your post changes rewards during the process? Well, that's actually normal. The rewards of a post on HIVE need 7 days in order to be "curated". During this period, votes on the post you made can change in value until they are paid out. In addition to it, the value of HIVE can change as well and modify the way your post will get rewarded (let's focus on the most common option selected by users, the 50/50% HIVE and HBD).

So, imagine that HIVE price goes down (the case for the past week) there will be less HBD value allocated to your post, in order to match the devaluation of the respective 50% HIVE part, and as a consequence that will change the total value in HBD of your post. The inverse will happen if the HIVE price increases, although in both situations curators will always get the same amount of HIVE.

Rather confusing? Let's try to make a simpler representation... let's imagine that each 🥝 is 1 HIVE and each 🍌 is 1 HBD, and that initially 🥝=🍌 (the price of 1 HIVE is 1 HBD). Also the same exact amount of upvote value on the same dates.

1. Your post gets votes during a 7 day period before it gets paid out. Your post gets: 8x🍌 (8 HBD) which is the same as 8x🥝 (8 HIVE) (the $ sign you see on posts are HBD, not USD, but in theory, they should be equivalent)

2. If you used the 50/50% HIVE/HBD rewards option, the post rewards are split into 🍌🍌🍌🍌 and 🥝🥝🥝🥝. By definition on the current HIVE code, post rewards get spliced in half (50%), one part for curators and the other for authors. Hence the final total would become:
   2.1 - Authors get: 🥝🥝🍌🍌 (liquid)
   2.2 - Curators get: 🥝🥝🥝🥝 (powered up) - the 🍌🍌 were used to buy 🥝🥝

3. If the price of HIVE goes down, to 🍌=🥝🥝, then now your post values 🍌🍌🍌🍌 (4 HBD) and rewards will be 🍌🍌🥝🥝🥝🥝 and when distributed, 🍌🥝🥝 for each side.
   3.1 - Authors get: 🥝🥝🍌 (liquid)
   3.2 - Curators get: 🥝🥝🥝🥝 (powered up) - the 🍌 were used to buy 🥝🥝

4. If the price of HIVE goes up, to 🍌🍌=🥝, then now your post values 16x🍌 (16 HBD) and rewards will be 🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🥝🥝🥝🥝 and when distributed, 🍌🍌🍌🍌🥝🥝 for each side.
   4.1 - Authors get: 🥝🥝🍌🍌🍌🍌 (liquid)
   4.2 - Curators get: 🥝🥝🥝🥝 (powered up) - the 🍌🍌🍌🍌 were used to buy 🥝🥝

How does this fruit approach look like? Tastier? 😋 More importantly, does it do the job of making it simpler to understand? We know that it's a lot of fruit to handle, but it's for a good cause.

An important observation is that no matter the price fluctuations of HIVE... (considering the same amount/weight of upvotes) rewards in HIVE (within HF25 code) are don't change with price fluctuations, you either receive more HBD or less, depending on the price of HIVE.

So, if all you think is HIVE, then when the price changes, don't worry... you will get it!

Note: This is just an attempt for a simple representation, there are other factors and complexity that can change the distribution. If you detect any mistakes let us know.

🏭🌍🚀🪐🌌 Roadmap Update

In a previous gathering we have unveiled what we called "Phase [II], Party Hard". In this phase there are two parties:

• Spree BEE Party (raise 2000 BEE) - [added information]
• ATX Rocking Party (deliverables) - [changed]

This is an update to both parts. Both that gathering information and the Live Scratch Paper will be updated to maintain the information accurate to this announcement.

Spree BEE Party (raise 2000 BEE)

It's already known that 1000 BEE will be spent on the Diesel Pool creation, but it's yet to be decided which pair this will be (we invite any other tokens with propositions). The only requirement is that it will need to be paired with the ATX token.

The other 1000 BEE will be used to create a fund! This will be a fund where users will need ATX to vote and submit proposals on Hive-Engine. Funding unlocking for the proposals will also be paid in ATX. More details on the objective of this Fund for when we launch ATX.

Given the above, @forykw will contribute with another 1100 BEE himself required to enable staking (1000 BEE) for ATX and to sponsor its distribution contract (100 BEE). The staking will be enabled before the party happens and the rest of the details will be given at the ATX Rocking Party.

ATX Rocking Party (deliverables)

We have studied the plan a bit further into the long term and decided to withdraw the "Bot" component in that phase. We believe there is already too much disruption on the HIVE chain from automatic interactions perspective and it's not the focus of what the Pub is trying to promote. This might change in the future when a side-chain can be used for that purpose.

In exchange, we are adding new detail to complement the bot withdrawal. Hive-Engine token rewards donated by users to the Pub or won via other Hive-Engine rewarding systems will be added continuously, over time and until otherwise announced, to the ATX Diesel Pool to be created at the "ATX Rocking Party".

Exceptions:

• @forykw DEC amount currently being used to maintain BEE in the BEE:DEC liquidity pool for extra rewards to the Pub (there are memos informing about this on HIVE chain).
• Some tokens that might be donated at gatherings before the "ATX Rocking Party".
• Strategic re-investments of Pub's tokens in order to embrace eventual opportunities (this and the previous line are to be decided by the Pub Admins).

This means that until we reach that Party, whatever is sent to the Pub will be accumulated/re-invested and then deposited in the ATX Diesel Pool once created.

The details about the distribution of ATX will be shared on a post at @atexoras account, once we launch the ATX Rocking Party in the Pub.

ATX future relationship with the Pub

The Pub will continue to maintain its core principles and the HIVE rewards currently being used to purchase BEE will be redirected towards any of the following possible scenarios, not yet locked-in (and we welcome feedback on this):

• Staking HIVE on the Pub account for manual curation to be done by any Pub Helper (inside or outside the Pub).
• Buying (with a percentage) ATX token from the Diesel Pool (only) and re-investing it on the ATX Diesel Pool again. Providing both more liquidity to the pool and an opportunity for the Pub to create pressure for other future opportunities, such as ATX giveaways, airdrops, etc.
• Moving a percentage of those HIVE rewards into the ATX Diesel Pool distribution, and reserving some to continuously help new users/initiatives. This last part would likely shift towards the ATX Fund since that would be one of its purposes. At the Pub, people can receive education and help on how to submit proposals and work with Hive-Engine features in general.
• Any other ideas developed through the course of these gatherings.

Simple guides will be drafted explaining how users can play with diesel pools, create proposals on the ATX Fund and vote for them. The Pub will work as a mentorship platform for users to become familiar with DAO's such as the ATX Fund.

Sounds like this is going to take forever to happen? 🤔 Wait for the next gathering... 😎 although we are not rushing. Step-by-step, stone by stone, visitors come by, communities grow and the Pub will be here, forever in this immutable blockchain. Once the pub celebrates its first year, we will have a retrospective analysis and tones of prizes.

It has been hard to lock in Admins without a reward use-case, but we think that after the ATX launch, things might change. The idea with the Admins role would never be to create a centralized management team, but instead to guide and promote the future and decentralization of the Pub. Admins should, as much as possible, act like leaders and not be attached to profitable factors. This role should be based on voluntary work, with some little compensation for the time spent upon agreement by the majority of the Pub visitors.

Because of this factor, a new account (@atexoras.admins) was created to explicitly record these compensations in order they don't get mixed up with any Pub rewards. Currently, there is no influx of rewards into this account, but as a suggestion, after the launch of ATX, the Pub could (example) reserve 1% of the gathering rewards towards this account, which could then be distributed among current Admins on a weekly basis.
