The Presidential Gallery, Jakarta

Hello traveler...

Lately, I have a desire to go around Jakarta and visit public places that hold history. I started from Central Jakarta. I went to the National Library. Not only a library, apparently, there is a presidential gallery around it.

During my stay in Jakarta, this was the first time I went to the Presidential Gallery. I originally wanted to visit the National Library, but when I wanted to go home, I passed the Presidential Gallery. Because I was curious about what was inside, I stopped by for a while.

It's a shame that some of the rooms in this Gallery are not functioning. Even when entering it, there were no guards and no one. It was good to take some photos but I felt like a lost person who didn't have a guide about this gallery.

But even so, I felt quite satisfied with looking around. As the name implies, this gallery stores photos of presidents who have served and also what is identical to them.

When you just pass through the entrance, you will see a sketch of the First President of Indonesia, namely Soekarno. There are many photos showing his journey in the past, during the colonial era, how he was portrayed in society at that time and the era when he announced the proclamation, an announcement of independence. All the photos are like a sketch because they were in black and white.

When you turn to the other side, you will meet the Immerse Cinema room. In this room, we will watch the history of the thoughts of the presidents. Unfortunately, I couldn't watch it. However, you can see that this room is designed with a minimalist concept. The black sofa chosen is also very comfortable to use to watch history on the monitor. In addition, there are several wooden shelves decorated in such a way as to make this room eye-catching and comfortable.

Turning to the other room, I felt amazed because this room did not seem to hold history. Except for the part that displays photos of seven former presidents. The entire room is dressed up like a new room with modern minimalist furniture, in harmony with the furniture in the previous room.

The management has a good sense of architecture because they designed the Presidential Gallery in a modern style that will certainly attract young people to visit it. In the era of social media where anything can go viral, the management seems to want to take advantage of this by designing the interior of this Gallery to be as attractive as this. I want to visit it again one day and see the history of the presidents.

Thanks in advance, to read my blog and hope you like my post!

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.

I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.

How was walking on the red carpet at the entrance of the cinema? That must be engaging with the space. That space is elegant, at least.

That's amazing :D the room is full of history.. Thanks for your comment @juecoree
