THE ARCHITECTURE OF THE RELIGIOUS COURT BUILDING IN PADANG SIDEMPUAN CITY

Hello friends in Architecture+Design Community, a few days ago when I was out of town, in the city of Padang Sidempuan to be precise, I found several architectural buildings that caught my attention. One that caught my attention was the public building of the Padang Sidempuan city Religious Court. The architecture of this building is the same as most other building architectures in the city of Sidempuan, but what makes this building's architecture interesting is that this building has a striking red color.

The Padang Sidempuan city religious court building is located on Jalan H.T. Rizal Nurdin, Km 7,the village of Salambue, North Sumatra Province. Indonesia.

Fence architecture

I'll start by showing the architecture of the fence that protects the main building. The fence consists of a 120 cm high perimeter wall. The main material of the wall is brick covered with painted plaster with a light cream color. While the fence posts have a simple but still elegant profile with red coloring. At the top of the wall is also given a red color that matches the fence posts.

The design of the gate for exit has a classic design, which is made of an iron fence painted in plain black.

This classic design can also be seen on the entrance gate made of iron painted in plain black. At the gate to enter the main building, there is a guard post.

Parking Architecture

One of the important things that must exist in government-owned public buildings is parking space services. People who bring their vehicles can safely carry out their interests because there is a large and easily accessible parking lot. Sometimes a parking space looks trivial, but for me a good parking space is a parking space that is neatly arranged and easy to reach. In the morning and evening, the front yard is used for employee training. But during the day, the front yard is also used as a parking lot, because of that, there is also a flagpole in the front yard.

Parking space is provided in front of the building and also on the side of the building. Parking space is provided in the front yard which is given paving blocks, so it doesn't get muddy during the rainy season.

Pillar Architecture

The religious court building has a modern architecture with a classical Greek style architecture. We can see this classic-style architecture from the selection of pillars on the front porch. there are four pillars with plain white columns. These pillars have red pedestals and heads.

The pillar architecture with this classic design makes the building look solid.

Main Building Architecture

The architecture of the Main Building consists of a permanent building with two floors. From the front side, we can see the walls of the main building which are painted red. On the front wall there is a design that is quite interesting, namely the wall is formed into several columns. Each column has a large window made of black glass.
The shape of the column on the wall forms the frame on the window.

Above each window there is a shield made of tile with metal material. The metal roof tiles that serve to protect these windows look in harmony with the tiles used as the roof of the building.

On a wall near the entrance there is an inscription about the Padang Sidempuan city religious court building. inscription made of black ceramic stone with golden yellow writing.

Waiting Room Architecture

Visitors who come are welcome to wait in the waiting room. This room is located on the left side of the building. The waiting room is located in the left foyer and is connected to a waiting room inside the building.

So visitors enter from the gate with a guard post, then head to the waiting room which is on the left side of the main building.

Garden Architecture

In the yard there is a minimalist garden. This park is beside the exit. I saw that this park had just been planted with some grass and also red shoot shade plants. If this plant is tall, it can be used as a shade for visitors.

I really like public buildings with their beautiful gardens. For me personally, a magnificent building would not look beautiful without plants that adorn the gardens. Because these plants produce oxygen that we really need to live and there is a feeling of peace within me, when I am close to these plants.

Thank you for reading my post about the Padang Sidempuan religious court building.

@umirais In total agreement with you, green spaces add beauty to the rest.

Thank you for taking me on a tour of this place through your narrative and photos.

sorry I didn't reply to your comment for a long time, I didn't see your previous comment, yes I like green parks on every government building @mosa71

It is beautiful to read you about this beautiful place that means so much to me.
There, like you, I did the Biodanza training, that system that has given me so much personal satisfaction and so many experiences that are summarized in a better way of living. Although the structure needs more support from sponsors or public institutions to help maintain its structure, it continues to be an oasis that few privileged people have been able to enjoy inside. Its architectural beauty and its gardens full of life.
I give my Biodanza sessions there on Friday mornings and to get there is to connect with something that somehow belongs to me, that I also want to find a way to help more.
Thank you for showing it to the Hivers community.

Thanks for positif feedback @alexis26

The architecture of the Pillars was what fascinated me the most during my tour of your entire content. And the red color painted on the building is sure to attract anyone. It can be imagined that the use of paving blocks to prevent mudslides during rainy seasons is a properly planned construction concept as well as having a large space for parking vehicles.

Thanks for positif feedback @madushanka

It was a very beautiful building, the red color really came out so that it made the building not boring to look at

Yes, thanks for positif feedback @aquagelas

You're welcome

Symmetry, formality, and balance! 😊 These are the most suitable descriptions I'd offer to the remarkable architecture of this religious court building dear @umirais. And with its peculiar color scheme, it's definitely an attention-grabber, isn't it?

yes, because usually government-owned public buildings are painted in white, the use of soft red paint on the religious court building makes the architecture of this building more attractive @storiesoferne
