Como no lo disfrutaría recordando nuestras raíces e historia, esos pueblos tiene encanto y arquitectura.
Mas las manos artesanas de aquellos campesinos que mezclando tierra y agua hacia esas paredes de adobe, que lo mismo te aíslan del frio que del calor, con las vigas de madera a la vista, con siglos de antigüedad.
Igual que el portón de la entrada me recuerda que antiguamente siempre estaba abierto.

Es un pueblo precioso, con innumerables detalles y una extraordinaria herencia cultural, que puede ser un magnífico exponente para mostrar esa arquitectura, medieval, rural y sobre todo popular, que caracterizó durante muchos siglos a nuestro país y en cuyos detalles se ven funcionalidades que aunque nos parezcan sencillas, tenían un sentido eminentemente práctico. Como bien dices, el adobe, la piedra y los artesonados de madera, cumplían con unas funciones de habilitabilidad realmente increíbles, pues en invierno conservaban el calor y en verano eran frescas. Artesanía pura y dura. Además, el entorno es espectacular, pues a media docena de kilómetros tienes uno de los parajes naturales más extraordinarios que existen: el nacimiento del río Abión, conocido popularmente como la Fuentona o el ojo de la Fuentona.
