A secluded bedroom for rest and regeneration 🕊

Hii people! I am so happy because of this community. We have so many opportunities, to read, share and meet with everything we are interested in. I like to talk about my interiors, so I am always open to read your comments. In this post I am writing about one gentle project.

Have you ever longed for a resting haven designed according to your nature, that deep longing for safety and freedom in one space? That was the desire our client had in mind when approaching us to request a design for a rendition of her apartment according to her soul's urge.
The client for this beautiful bedroom is a 35 years young businesswoman. She wanted to create a very soothing experience when entering her home. Slowly, as you progress from the entrance of the apartment, you can feel the cozy undertone, embracing you as it culminates in the bedroom. Upon entering, the first impression is the feeling of seclusion from the outer world. An experience of elevation is created as you encounter the lighting defined by its sleek shapes and elegant transparent pendant lights hanging over an intricately textured wall. It is as if a meditative state has been achieved upon entrance. The massive double bed is softened by a neutral beige tone that dominates the bedroom coloration. The color palette chosen is reminiscent of the autumn, where nature is at its full spectrum of deep colors, with a subdued sensation. The green is calm, although fresh, and the purple is dark and dim, yet hints of a vibrance are hidden deep within. The floor design is materialized using light wood, to add light to the room and to inspire a natural look continuing on the play of beige tones throughout the room. The velvet deepens the feeling of softness, as it permeates via the carpet, bed, and drapes, as well as the vanity stool. The vanity table is encompassed within the console that extends underneath the TV achieving continuity and functionality within the flow of walking within the bedroom. The storage is included within a mirrored sliding wardrobe, where the play of dark glass and mirror reflections contrasts a usually stable environment. The cavern-like interior opens up towards the light entering from the milky curtains pertaining a strong out worldly light, trying to pierce through the faint curtains into the privacy of the bedroom interior. By creating a doorway to the balcony, a window to the outside view lush with greenery and the buzz of the daily city traffic. Does the echo of such an idea entrance you, or do you have a new idea for a bedroom according to your proclivities blossoming in your mind?

For the end, if you would like to read this kind of stories, you can be in touch with my friend Jelena. She is so inspired by interiors and architecture, and telling stories is her passion. As an architect, she has good writing skills and a talent for describing architectural projects. Also, my arch friend will be joining us on Hive soon where you will be able to reach her as well! 😊

Enjoy! ♥️
