RE: Simple But Comfortable Interior Design Janji Jiwa Cafe

in Architecture+Design2 years ago

Hello @titisnariyah. Despite its simplicity, the Janji Jiwa Cafe still looks elegant with a bit of a rustic flair. Plus with its additional facilities like the outdoor space and prayer room, this establishment is definitely welcoming, accessible to nature, and culturally adaptable in its present location. 😊

Is that business establishment's main floor area made of exposed concrete layered with cement finish? It seems that no ceramic tiles, marble, or other flooring materials have been laid over them.

Sort:

Yes, none of the floors in this cafe use ceramics. I think, maybe the cafe owner has deliberately not renovated the floor because the building used seems to be a former building. However, after seeing that the cement-only floor was perfect for other concepts used such as chairs and tables, I became convinced that the owner did that on purpose.

Anyway, It's really made me happy that you to stop by and comment in my post. Thank you, @storiesoferne

Okay, I see @titisnariyah. Well, sometimes floors are deliberately designed that way - to have a rustic appeal as the final aesthetic. Nevertheless, it fits properly with the intended ambiance of that cafe. 😊

Yes, I got new knowledge again about architecture. Lucky me.🎉
