First, it was a windy but sunny day during my visit to Angkor Wat so, people find it relaxing to enjoy the soothing breeze and the surroundings while taking a break. Second, the hole on the statue is indeed a clever contraption to hide a piece of scroll. I never thought of it that way. Cheers!
