RE: Being Antifragile

in Architecture+Design3 years ago

We need to learn that sometimes it is okay to be not okay.

This is the harsh reality of life. And the sooner we learn to accept this, the better our experiences, perceptions, and attitudes of the world and humanity become.

When we make our design resilient and robust, we know how we use the thing we're designing, allowing us to determine the necessary features, materials, and so on.

As humans, we cultivated the virtue of resilience to assist us in facing life's adversities. So it's likely natural to apply these powerful traits to our built environments. Buildings have to be prepared plus equipped for all types of crises. How can we continue to thrive as a species if we cease to innovate, right @juecoree?

If change is inevitable, innovation is our bread and butter as we thrive with change. We can't thrive if we cease to innovate. Time attest to how many systems and products fails because of failing to address the call of time and innovate.
