Getting to know its design and architecture
Blessed day, dear friends, it has been a while since I last shared in this community because I had not gone out to visit new places, but thanks to the invitation that some friends made me I could go to the Germano club in the city of Maracay, Venezuela and I come to introduce you to them.
This club is located in a mountainous area, which makes you have a beautiful view both to get there and from the club and also a perfect climate for recreational and sports activities. Upon arrival there is a large parking lot and the main entrance with its characteristic shield with the colors of the German flag black, red and yellow in the words you can read Círculo Germano Maracay and also has symbols that appear to be the branches of a tree and an eagle emblems of the German coat of arms.
After climbing the main stairs, which are a few steps followed by long landings, lined with some nice mosaic-like ceramics, you can see two separate spaces, there is the pool area and, on the other side, the party rooms.
The pool is large, I would say it is the size of an Olympic pool, it was very clean and at a good temperature, they made it available for us even though we only had 4 people, unfortunately the slide was under maintenance otherwise I would have jumped in several times, it just occurred to me that from the platform of the slide I would have taken good pictures.
The pool is deep from the middle it has a safety rope, this area is surrounded by a L of fixed awnings where the garden style plastic tables and chairs are, right next to it is the children's pool, but it was empty and full of dirt, actually with how expensive it is to maintain a pool it is not functional to have two active ones.
After touring this part I went to the party area and met the first room which is very spacious with tongue and groove ceiling in raw wood, of this room I liked the country style it has with wooden tables and chairs and the kitchen area can not be seen from the outside only distinguished by the dark glass windows with gold frames, I guess from the kitchen if you can see out. In this area they have a circular iron pendant lamp where 8 bulbs are inserted very German style, it reminded me of seeing some similar ones in movies.
From this room you can see the basketball and tennis courts, both with lack of paint but still functional, and further outside an outdoor meat grilling area called beer garden with a circle in red terracotta not rustic stone, which I imagine is the dance area, from here you can see some pruned bushes.
Returning I went to the upstairs area, in this part are the bathrooms, other areas for grilling meat, which is a common dish eaten at family gatherings and informal celebrations, is the area identified with numbers, around here you get the playground with swings, up and down and slide.
This club is very complete, because it has fun, sports and recreational areas designed for children and adults, it caught my attention that they also have two courts to play bolas criollas, a typical Venezuelan game, these courts are the ones that are seen on the ground and have a blackboard with a green and red clock.
After reviewing this part I went down to the pool hall, but it was closed, and above this hall there is another huge hall with a complete view of the entire club, it is like a giant hut that worked years ago as a discotheque according to the friend who took me there.
Historical, cultural and sporting importance
The administration of the club is downstairs at the same level of the parking lot is well located to receive those interested in any service, I met him because I accompanied my friend to deliver some things and took the opportunity to take a picture with his banner, there are also photographs of all those who have been presidents with their names and periods.
In the main hallway there are two very striking posters in the first one there are press clippings about sporting events in the discipline of Taekwondo, in this billboard indicate that in 1993 was founded the school that works here, the classes are given in a small hut from my point of view that has a blue banner to identify it.
And in the other one appear all the achievements of the participants of this sports academy, here they make reference that the teacher has been the referee with more world championships in Taekwondo, he was in several Olympics and also in Paralympics, he is a successful sportsman of the region, this is a very important detail for this club.
Finally I found a stone that just by seeing it broke my heart, an original fragment of the Berlin Wall donated by the mayor of Steglitz in 1990 as a symbol of human fellowship, it is a reminder that the walls made of cement can not divide the feeling of brotherhood of a population, friendship, affection and companionship, is much deeper than any word I can use to express what that little rock represents.
I don't know how many thousands of parts the B wall was divided into, but that there is a small part in the German Club in my state, was very special to me, although I am not a historian nor do I have relatives who suffered the Cold War, I raised a prayer for all the people who came in contact with it and felt separated in their own land.
This place is very nice for any occasion, it serves for family reunions, big celebrations, exhibitions and more, I was in love with everything, it was spaced out and hopefully it will stay that way or better in time, thankful that you made it to the end until a next post.

This club is very nice and big, ideal to spend a different day. I really like that it has an area for everything. I really liked the stairs to the pool, in this one I would feel safe, I don't know I have a certain fear of the stairs of the pools. Another thing I like is the checkered ceramics and the little piece of the Berlin wall, wow how amazing.
They thought of everything when they built it, depending on the type of meeting there is an area, I also liked that.
@doriangel 😘
Wow, all I can say is that the place is so wide and full of recreational spots. You can bring your friends there and they will not get bored because there's so many things you can do. The pool is also magnificent and wide, looking so expensive.
That's right, you have to do any sport or social game, adult or children's parties, plus there is a lot of nature to contemplate, the whole club is very beautiful.
Happy day @sydney27 😊
