Panchgaon Restro- Desi Luxury

Some Restaurants becomes so famous that people do not just consider it as part of their travel but travel specially to visit there.

So, Today it would be interesting to showcase one such restaurant which became more of destination than part of journey. Over the years My friends have compelled me to visit there but it was always something or the other which stopped me to do so. But this weekend I finally made a plan to visit there. It falls in Manesar which was an hour far away from the city of Gurgaon. Living in Delhi I had to travel little more than an hour of course.

From roadside dishes to different cuisines, Everything was served there. The craziest thing is the lavishing interior. This used to be a roadside stall by the highway. Slowly and steadily they created a large scale restaurant which is still standing large for years.

The exterior was lavishing and large. Stories about such restaurants are always famous which started from a thatched roof stall of food and reached to such large scale restaurant. The interior speaks for itself. The vibrant theme and double heighted central ceiling.
The food served was pure Indian with so many delicacies of every state. The most famous is the "India's largest Parantha served here" There is some price amount on who so ever finishes it in given time.
Anyways, The interior aspects were mind blowing.
So Here are some elements which simply elevates the look of any interior place of large gathering such as restaurants, hotels, halls etc.

Levels

There were two levels of roof the internal was double heighted and the external was made up of truss. Having seating arranged at different levels of heights makes the place interesting. If such large restaurant was to be placed at similar level it would be like a large hall, But the addition of little levels as seen in the picture above shows how much elements one can add to make place much exciting like the steps , the planters and the borders around different levels.

Not just the floor level but the level in roof can play such amazing role. usually an interior designer do not get a freedom to change roof level but if not level one can add some elements to bring in change and variety.

Levels plays major role, having seating at different level brings in much space for lobby and distance between tables.
The next important thing to consider is-

Lighting

That isn't a fancy chandelier, It's the light bulb fixed in a straw basket inverted and joined together in a cluster. It loooks absolutely amazing! Isn't it? Talking about the lighting of any such restaurants, It's always great to have yellowish tone of lighting. Going with the theme works best, As having pendant lightings is mostly best with cove lighting as one can clearly notice in the picture.
Having fancy chandeliers are always a plus point considering how aesthetic they look. Regular tube lights are usually a big no no.

Having a little dim yet yellowish pendant light bright eating place is always best as it keeps the privacy of customers intact and makes a comfortable environment with highlighting the elements and not the seating.

Keeping this perspective in mind let's head towards another one i.e

Pop of Colours

The ceiling at this section is changed completely, the ducts came in place now. As the truss was not placed here. Can one notice how vivid colours played an important role here. Since the theme was desi and vibrant. The pop of primary and their complimentary colours were much popping. They looked vibrant. The addition of colours on the duct made it look sophisticated and bright. Few columns were painted yellow with a village art to add into theme.

This depicts how the addition of colours makes everything much vibrant and interesting.

The furniture and partition

It is impotant to indulge into different variety of furniture when planning for such large space. Having same kind of seating would bring monotony and no interesting element to the space.
With all such elements mentioned above one should consider the point of having tables and chairs which matches the themes and still be in a variety.

As easily noticed in the picture having wooden and cushiony seating in different forms placed across the hotel bought up the lit to the place. Not just the type of furniture matters but the placing too.
Not every time one can have levels it is obviously costly and requires larger space. To over come that part we can have just partitions made of bricks or stones and have planters and cove lighting to bring in the amazing effect and variety to the space and arrange different kind of seating as well.
The next thing is-

Aesthetic elements

Such elements like the bamboo chairs, the coloured flags dripping down the ceiling , the steel frame columns in the exterior had a village style leaf design which for sure was hand drawn. All such elements adds up to the way little things enhances the place.

Concluding
Having elements like proper lighting, seatings, partitions, pop of colours, levels and aesthetic elements adds up to the majestic interior of space. Showing how the restaurants design their space to work on theme and make an amusing interiors matters.
