en honor a San Jun de los morros por pasar a ser la capital del estado Guárico bajo el mandato del dictador Juan Vicente Gómez

Although it is clear that President Gómez had a certain affection for this jurisdiction, which in principle, according to its territorial political division, belonged to the valleys of Aragua and at that time, with legislative barter, it was granted to Guárico in exchange for the tagay municipalities, barbecues and memorandum. General Gómez frequented the hot springs of this town a lot for its healing sources, and the citizens fervently asked him for a San Juan Grande economically so that everyone could see it and according to the story of older people, he ordered them to make a San Juanote as he was told. know to this day

Si bien claro se sabe que el presidente Gómez tenia cierto afecto por esta jurisdicción, que en principio según su división político territorial pertenecía a los valles de Aragua y para ese entonces con trueques legislativos fue otorgado a Guárico a cambio de los municipios tagay, barbacoas y memorándum. se encuentra custodiada por Leones y cañones antiguos que fungen como canserberos de igual forma un diseño tallado en la parte inferior al momumento que hace referencia a la vida y obra de Juan el bautizta, el hombre que bautizo al hijo de Dios, su acceso es facil y sencillo puede hacerce caminando subiendo varios escalones o por la parte trasera que da acceso a vehiculos y motos hasta la parte superior donde se encuentra el monumento

Another important piece of information about this work was that the designer had differences with President Gomez, because the designer in the first instance had made it in such a way that this statue was found pointing forward with his hand, something that Gomez did not like. and ordered the sculptor of the work to be imprisoned and called him a communist, these situations were common for those times of dictatorship, and he was locked up hard until the death of Gomez, who died 4 days before the inauguration of the work in the year 1935

otro dato importante de esta obra fue que el diseñador tuvo diferencias con el presidente Gomez, debido a que el diseñador en primera instancia la había realizado en forma de que esta estatua se encontró señalando con su mano hacia adelante, cosa que no le agrado a gomez y mando a meter preso al escultor de la obra y lo tildo de cominista, esas situaciones eran comunes para esas épocas de dictadura, y duro encerrado hasta la muerte de gomez quien murio 4 dias antes de la inauguración de la obra en el año 1935

bueno amigos de Arquitectura y diseño si algún dia vienen a el estado Guárico no se les vaya olvidar visitar la capital del estado la cual es esta donde me encuentro San Juan de los morros un lugar turístico que enamora a propios y visitantes donde podran observar muchas obras arquitectonicas como esta qur sin lugar a dudas aparte de su contenido religioso posee gran calidad arquitectonica una hermosa obra que le da sentido al nombre que lleva este municipio y en lo religioso de gran significado para los de la fe catolica por ser San Juan el bautizta quien bautizo al hijo de Dios quien en ese mometo segun la biblia se escuchó su voz diciendo este es mi hijo amado en el cual tengo complaciencia.
