Buenos días a todos los miembros de esta red social (Hive). Hoy les quiero compartir fotografías tomadas por mi madre en su primer viaje al extranjero, ella se encuentra en la República del Perú visitando a mi hermano mayor y a su hija (nieta). Las fotografías que aquí les traigo son del Circuito Mágico del Agua ubicado en el parque de la Reserva, este circuito fue inaugurado el 26 de Julio del 2007. Este circuito es uno de los proyectos municipales más grandes e icónico de Lima.
Good morning to all the members of this social network (Hive). Today I want to share photographs taken by my mother on her first trip abroad, she is in the Republic of Peru visiting my older brother and his daughter (granddaughter). The photographs that I bring you here are of the Magic Water Circuit located in the park of the Reserve, this circuit was inaugurated on July 26, 2007. This circuit is one of the largest and most iconic municipal projects in Lima.
El circuito cuenta con 13 fuentes, apoyadas con la más alta tecnología donde las luces láser, el sonido el agua, y la música se mezclan para presentar a sus visitantes únicos e increíbles espectáculos. El parque de la Reserva donde se ubica el Circuito Mágico del Agua, fue inaugurado en el año 1929, en homenaje a los reservistas que lucharon en defensa de la ciudad de Lima durante la Guerra del Pacífico (1881). Su diseño fue inspirado en sus símiles europeos, permite a la ciudad de Lima contar con una extensa área verde y se caracteriza por una arquitectura de estilos Indigenista y Art-Deco.

The Park of the Reserve where the Magic Water Circuit is located, was inaugurated in 1929, in tribute to the reservists who fought in defense of the city of Lima during the War of the Pacific (1881). Its design was inspired by its European similes, allows the city of Lima to have an extensive green area and is characterized by an architecture of Indigenist and Art-Deco styles.
El Circuito Mágico del Agua se construyó durante la gestión municipal de Luis Castañeda Lossio. El costo (US$13.000.000) y su diseño de trece fuentes de agua, despertó las críticas por parte de la población limeña ya que el Parque de la Reserva es un Patrimonio Urbano Monumental y Patrimonio Histórico de la Nación; además de colocar un costo por ingresar a un parque público.
The Magic Water Circuit was built during the municipal administration of Luis Castañeda Lossio. The cost (US$13,000,000) and its design of thirteen water sources, aroused criticism from the Lima population since the Reserve Park is a Monumental Urban Heritage and Historical Heritage of the Nation; in addition to placing a cost for entering a public park.
En la actualidad, el número de personas que visitan el Circuito Mágico del Agua genera entre 40.000 y 60.000 soles semanales de ingresos. El Circuito Mágico del Agua ostenta el Record Guinness al 'Complejo de Fuentes más Grande del Mundo en un Parque Público'.
Currently, the number of people who visit the Magic Water Circuit generates between 40,000 and 60,000 soles per week of income. The Magic Water Circuit holds the Guinness World Record for the 'World's Largest Fountain Complex in a Public Park'.
El proyecto “Circuito Mágico del Agua” fue convocado por la oficina de Servicios de Proyectos de las Naciones Unidas cómo un concurso internacional, GHESA fue la empresa que ganó el concurso para la construcción de este Circuito. El proyecto “Circuito Mágico del Agua” permitiría transforma al Parque de la Reserva en un apacible lugar de paseo como en un espacio mágico en el que el agua, la música en perfecta armonía y las luces presentarían un espectáculo inolvidable para todo el que lo visite. Una de sus fuentes tiene un chorro que alcanza los 80 metros de altura.
The project "Magic Water Circuit" was convened by the United Nations Project Services office as an international competition, GHESA was the company that won the competition for the construction of this Circuit. The project "Magic Water Circuit" would transform the Reserve Park into a peaceful place to walk as well as a magical space in which water, music in perfect harmony and lights would present an unforgettable spectacle for everyone who visits it. One of its fountains has a jet that reaches 80 meters in height.
Las Fuentes de agua:
1. Río de los Deseos.
Con un recorrido de ciento diez metros lineales y a manera de un río, existe una fuente interactiva con efecto sorpresa, explosión pulverizada con surtidores verticales, siendo así, visibles al espectador. (Punto número 12 del mapa a continuación).
Water Sources:
1. River of Desires.
With a route of one hundred and ten linear meters and like a river, there is an interactive fountain with surprise effect, pulverized explosion with vertical jets, thus being visible to the viewer. (Point number 12 of the map below)
2. Laberinto de Ensueño
Está fuente permite a los visitantes encontrarse con un laberinto formado por paredes de agua de efectos diferentes, estos van desde pompas de ilusión, chorros sorpresa de agua con alturas distintas y piñas de pulverización que se combinan con gran creatividad y dinamismo (Número 9 del mapa).
2. Dream Labyrinth
This fountain allows visitors to find a labyrinth formed by walls of water of different effects, these range from bubbles of illusion, surprise jets of water with different heights and spray pineapples that are combined with great creativity and dynamism (Map number 9).
3. Fuente de las Tradiciones.
Esta fuente se encuentra rodeada por un estanque, los motivos escultóricos indígenas originales se realizan por la incorporación de masivos surtidores de agua (Número 11 del mapa).
3. Source of Traditions.
This fountain is surrounded by a pond, the original indigenous sculptural motifs are made by the incorporation of massive water jets (Number 11 of the map).
4. Del Arcoiris
Está fuente de agua se constituye por densas hileras paralelas de surtidores verticales de agua, que cubren un gigantesco arco con alturas ajustadas que permite formar el efecto visual del Arcoiris natural. (Número 7 del mapa).
4. Rainbow
This water source is constituted by dense parallel rows of vertical water jets, which cover a gigantic arch with adjusted heights that allows to form the visual effect of the natural Rainbow. (Number 7 of the map).
5. De la cúpula visitable
Los surtidores salen desde un estanque con forma de una corona circular. Con la caída del agua se puede visualizar en el centro una nube de pulverización. (Número 4 del mapa).
5. From the dome visitable
The jets come out from a pond shaped like a circular crown. With the fall of the water you can visualize in the center a spray cloud. (Number 4 of the map).
6. De la Armonía
Esta fuente de agua se constituye por una pirámide cuyas caras se forman por cuatro redes paralelas de surtidores, estrechamente bien distribuidos. (Número 6 del mapa).
6. Of Harmony
This water source is constituted by a pyramid whose faces are formed by four parallel networks of dispensers, closely well distributed. (Number 6 of the map).
7. Túnel de las Sorpresas
Esta fuente forma un túnel de agua de renta y cinco metros de longitud. Por este túnel en forma de surtidores efímeros salen pequeños chorros de agua disparados de forma aleatoria sorprendiendo así a sus visitantes. (Número 8 del mapa)
7. Tunnel of Surprises
This fountain forms a water tunnel for rent and five meters in length. Through this tunnel in the form of ephemeral jets come small jets of water fired randomly, thus surprising its visitors. (Map number 8).
8. Mágica
Está fuente es la principal de todas, esto se debe a que es la que logra alcanzar los 80 metros de altura, formando una gran cúpula central permitiendo visualizar una bella flor de lis. (Número 1 del mapa).
8. Magical
This fountain is the main one of all, this is because it is the one that manages to reach 80 meters in height, forming a large central dome allowing to visualize one beautiful fleur-de-lis. (Map number 1).
9. De la Fantasía
Es una fuente de 120 metros de largo, cibernética; su fantasía se muestra a través de una coreográfica que se da con el movimiento sincronizado del agua mostrando imágenes y colores junto a un fondo musical. (Número 2 del mapa).
9. Fantasy
It is a 120-meter-long, cybernetic fountain; his fantasy is shown through a choreographic that occurs with the synchronized movement of water showing images and colors next to a musical background. (Number 2 of the map).
10. De la Ilusión
Cuenta con una gran riqueza de caudal de agua y muchos colores. Su ilusión se manifiesta por regulares intervalos, permitiendo la salida a numerosas “pompas de la ilusión”. (Número 3 del mapa).
10. Fountain of Illusion
It has a great wealth of water flow and many colors. Their illusion is manifested by regular intervals, allowing the exit to numerous "bubbles of illusion". (Number 3 of the map).
11. Fermín Tangüis
En forma de jardín fantástico, está fuente posee un molinete en su centro de giro lento que produce figuras de la naturaleza. Está fuente se ilumina por las noches con tonos de color verde junto con una corona de flores muy dinámica. (Fuente número 5 del mapa).

In the form of a fantastic garden, this fountain has a pinwheel in its slow-turning center that produces figures of nature. This fountain is illuminated at night with shades of green along with a very dynamic wreath of flowers. (Source number 5 of the map).
12. De los niños
Se caracteriza por contar con un sistema de “agua para jugar” sobre la cual podrán pasar los visitantes. La fuente cuenta con surtidores periféricos incorporados en 36 cuadros que emergen en forma aleatoria. (Número 13 del mapa).
12. Children
It is characterized by having a system of "water to play" on which visitors can pass. The fountain has peripheral dispensers built into 36 frames that emerge randomly. (Number 13 of the map).
13. De la vida
Es la fuente alegórica a la vida como un manantial inagotable de fuerza regeneradora y evolutiva. Con na estructura central surge con gran potencia, generando una masa de agua espumosa con altura variable. (Número 10).
13. Of life
It is the allegorical source to life as an inexhaustible spring of regenerative and evolutionary force. With a central structure it arises with great power, generating a body of foamy water with variable height. (Number 10).
