RE: Maximalism, We maximize to minimize being common.

Why do you express architecture from a humanistic perspective?

I think it is better to relate it to our humanity. I read countless articles on architectures but often focuses the design like how the design materialize and why it is different from another concept. I think architecture is not all design. It is about story and celebration of human experience. For all our lives, we will be in an enclosed living spaces to take shelter. Architecture and our humanity is intertwined. That is the reason I often express architecture from a humanistic perspective.

minimalism = individualism, maximalism = collectivism

Yes, we can say minimalism celebrate individualism and retrenchment from being collective, while maximalism enjoys the cohesiveness of being collective.
