Exploring Architectural Wonders at Ancient City

Our afternoon at the Ancient City in Thailand was one of the most delightful experiences of our trip. We had booked this tour through Klook and were thrilled to discover that we were the only group on this tour—talk about lucky! This gave us the flexibility to customize the experience a bit to suit our preferences.


This is one of the architecture that stuns me the most because it was so beautiful and it's surrounded with water. I thought I can't make it to the structure itself because it was so hot that day but I'm glad I survived becaue it's more beautiful when you're inside. It's so peaceful.


This was the Fish temple, and you'll be amazed to see this structure upclose because it was designed and sculpted intricately.


According to our tour guide, this is the only building replica that is 1:1 ratio. I couldn't help myself but adore the beautiful structure both from the inside and the outside.

Instead of renting golf carts to navigate the expansive site, we spoke with our tour guide and arranged for the driver to take us around for a small extra fee. It was such a relief, as the heat of the afternoon could have made exploring on foot or by cart quite tiring. Riding through the Ancient City allowed us to enjoy the stunning sights at a comfortable pace, with plenty of time to stop and take in the breathtaking structures.

The Ancient City is a treasure trove of architectural beauty, featuring detailed miniatures of some of the world’s most famous structures and landmarks. Each replica is crafted with such precision that you can’t help but admire the artistry and effort that went into creating them. As we toured the grounds, we marveled at the intricate details of the buildings, from the ornate temples to the lifelike recreations of historical landmarks. It felt like traveling through time and across the globe in just one afternoon.
What made the experience even more special was having the place almost to ourselves. It allowed us to take our time, capture photos without feeling rushed, and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the Ancient City. The combination of the thoughtful designs, our guide’s insights, and the relaxed pace of our tour made it an unforgettable part of our trip.

Our visit to the Ancient City was more than just sightseeing—it was a chance to appreciate the artistry of architecture and the rich cultural heritage it represents. It’s an afternoon we’ll always remember fondly. The tour was quiet tiring I would say but I'm thankful that the whole group participated and enjoyed it. There's a lot to visit in Ancient City a day will not be enough but we were all thankful to our tour guide for doing a great job.
