I Stayed In This Lovely House With A Private Pool For Two Nights In Bali

This is my second post in Architecture + Design and i am so excited about it.
I actually waiting to be able to post in this community for so long already since the first time that i posted in this community.
I really love this community but i dont have a lot of chance to be participate on it because i dont have many interesting things to share, especially since most of the time i just stay at home.
Finally, there’s a good chance came to my way.
I have a lot of things going on in my mind.
So, to relieve some of the stress that i have, i decided to just go on vacation.
I went vacation to Bali to be exact.
During this vacation, i especially excited about the thoughts that i might be able to share and post again in this Architecture + Design community.
Like usual, my vacation consist of just move around from one hotel to another hotel.
I am not really into traveling to popular tourist spot and such.
What can i say, i am a homebody like that.
Without further talking, let me start to talk about the first place that i stayed in Bali.
I have found this place when i am looking around in Airbnb.
I love Airbnb, and whenever i went to vacation i will always try to stay at least one time in Airbnb.
This time, its a shared place with the owner.
The house consist of two rooms which totally be in the different space to each other.
One room is for the owner and the other room is for the rent.
I look at the place in Airbnb and found that the place is such a cute place for such a cheap price.
I booked them immediately.
The owner is a lovely Russian lady.
The house located in Badung, Kuta.

This is what the place looks like from the outside, the fence and the wall is high so it covere up almost the whole space.
This is giving us such a privacy to move around in the living space.
I love how she use a wooden fence outside.
And not only in the outside, there’re many wooden furniture inside that go along with the ehole them of the house.
For the check in, we can do self check in with taking the key out of safety box near the fence and then come inside.
The dog is barking but she is very kind and never come and attack me, just barking.

She has a garage so if i have my own vehicle such as car or motorbike, i can put them her without worry someone might steal them.
As we can see, there’s green leaves hanging down from the roof.
I dont know whats the name of them but i found them really really pretty.
It matches with the whole wooden them around the house.
I really live that she mixed both plant and wooden them here and there in the house.
It will just make your stay there very pleasing because it relaxed us instantly.
When i have my vacation, i always prefer to stay in a place that close to the nature even if its only the theme and not really located near the nature.

This is what we will look at right after we passed the garage.
It’s the guest room.
I stayed there for two nights.
In the front of the bedroom, there’s a sitting space too.
Actually, in the whole place there were three sitting space which i will show later.

This is what the space beside the guest room looks like.
There’s a small path to walk.
The end of the path is the guest room’s bathroom.
Since the bathroom in the guest room without window cover, i feel this small path is a little bit creepy.
Thankfully, the only people that can access this path is the guest, which is me, and the home owner.
So it put my heart at the ease a little bit.

This is the second sitting place in the house.
The first sitting space that i showed are a two seater sofa while this one is two three seater sofa.
I found the design of the table is very unique and i can bet that this is a table that made from natural wood.

This is the third sitting space and actually a dinner table.
I mostly like to sit her to eat and working (or both) because the chair and the table is in the perfect length.
I personally doesnt like to sit in a sofa unless its for lazying around.
I like to sit straight when i eat and do my work.
I think it really nice that she have some variation of sitting space in her house so the guest can choose where and how they want to sit.

For the sitting space, i personally think that its too much and having three sitting space in a row might make the room looks messy in design aspect.
But, for the usefulness, i think its really great to maximize the small space that she have to put three variety of sitting space so the guest can choose which one they want to sit in and do their activity.

The other good things about this house is there’s a sharing kitchen with the owner.
The guest can use the kitchen freely to cook, can use the refrigerator to keep food, and use the drinking water as much as we like.
And not only that, she have all the utensils too so even if we ordered food from online, we can eat them using the utensils that she provide there.
The kitchen design is an open kitchen which is very refreshing to me.
I actually felt really jealous when i saw it.
I think that the open kitchen like this will make cooking even more fun.
The kitchen mostly using light brown ceramics all over to match with the theme of the house.

This is the exciting part about this house.
This house have a private pool.
The pool is quite deep, the owner said that its 1,8 m pool.
I cant swim so i didnt even try to get close to the water.
I am scared that when if i am alone and drowning, no one to help me there.
Its such a pity actually, it will be nice for people that actually like to swim to swim in this place.
The pool have plants all around it which will make the sensationnof swimming even better because it will feel like you’re close with the nature.

After talking about the outside, now lets talk about the inside of the bedroom.

This is what the door of the bedroom looks like.
The room has an open window shich exactly what im looking for in a room.
I always want to stay vacation in a room with an open window like this.
Finally i am able to have it.

This is the bed.
The bed is in queen size.
Perfect for one person like me.
Maybe not so much space if its two people stay in the room.
There’s three bakul right in front of the bed.
Its good aesthetically but i dont know what it is for because i dont think this has really purpose other than as a decoration.
There’re two small table with lamp.
Same like the table outside, i think that these two made of natural wood too.

This is what the table looks like from up close.

The room doesnt have working space in the room but they have this one here is right in the corner near the window.
Again, for me this chair purpose is as the decoration because i do any kind activity that needs chair and table outside.

This is the cupboard where we can put all of our things.
The cupboard, once again, made of wood.
I love that she put many hangers in the cupboard because i really need it for the clothes that i dont want to get wrinkled and for the clothes that i just wear from the oustside.

This is the bathroom.
The bathroom is actually pretty spacious.
It has this big cup board in the bathroom which is rare to see.
This house doesnt really give the place where i can hang my wet towel inside the bathroom so i just put my towel there in the cupboard.

This is the shower space and the toilet.
In the shower, they give such a big room i feel like we can fit five people to bath at the same time there.
The toilet itself is pretty normal.
The sink is on top of wooden cupboard again.
Told ya the whole house theme is plant and wood.
Its really pretty.

The price that i need to pay there in Airbnb is 12 dollar for a night.
I spent two nights there so i paid 24 dollar in total.
