RE: La dolce vita 🇮🇹 Elegant, fancy Italian restaurant Lupo and its signature dish, flower-shaped fiori pasta, stuffed with ricotta, parmesan, mascarpone and oregano, with burnt butter and hazelnuts

Wow! the decoration is great and the food looks delicious, what I find strange is the sculpture of the head, does it belong to some important character? It's a little scary to be eating when you see that head that seems to be watching the place.

Cheers!

Hi @belkyscabrera, I found these heads sculptures strange too, but now I know a little more about them. I read on the Internet that these are traditional vases from the Italian island of Sicily, so-called Moor's heads. "The Moor's heads are symbolic of Sicily and are recognized all over the world. They are elegant hand-painted ceramic decorative vases." source. Since Lupo is an Italian restaurant, interior decorators used such fashionable sculptures, popular in Italy. I will add information about it in my post. Greetings 🙂
