Looks too fancy for me and I have a high threshold before one could get me to spend on luxury. Looks fun though, Japan is on my travel lists so I might end up seeing this hotel one day for the fun of it.

Too bad we didn't get to visit the rooms. I enjoy such tours for research and for work. I honestly don't mind indulging occasionally. I'm curious what would make you cross the threshold if ever? What would be something you might find irresistible to splurge on?
For myself? probably a limited number of things that go along with being practical. I wasn't raised in luxury or had ambitious goals to experience anything along those lines. The most natural thing that would get me to spend on expensive stuff is for other people, especially for significant others. I see myself enjoying the experience but would tell myself not to get used to it as part of living below one's means of lifestyle. I wouldn't think twice if it's for significant others to enjoy. But it's not for me. I'd spend on things that would generate capital, tools for a productive hobby, or learning something new.
I totally get it and further understand what you value and hold dear. Thanks for sharing it with me here.
