Freediving at Kuya Jom's Crib in Catmon [Not Too Well]

Hello everyone!

Last August, I made a sneak peek video of our freedive in Catmon. It was the first time that I was able to use my Go Pro Hero 9. By the way, I haven't shared that my Go Pro was damaged. Initially, there were green vertical lines on the screen after we went to Moalboal last September. I tried to manually update the firmware, but the screen became all black now. I didn't worry anyway because it's still under warranty and I'll have it replaced tomorrow. Back to this video, I made a promise in that sneak peek that I'll share the whole video, but it turned out that the videos are not of good quality. The water was not clear at that time due to the strong current.

Instead of worrying about those videos, I went to Kuya Jom's Crib again last October 29 together with @indayclara. It was an adventure of its own and we had a great time even if we just spent about 3 hours there and went home immediately after. In a way, I still fulfilled my promise, but it's a different video this time.

This is video was directed, taken, and edited by @indayclara! She's my constant freediving companion and I'm so happy that she's always game with whatever we can think of especially when it comes to freediving. I was so excited to see the final outcome that I kept on bugging her about the video, but the girl was so busy in the past two weeks so I couldn't complain.

I bet she's inspired by Taylor Swift's All Too Well that she made a Not Too Well version. I'm not complaining because, in that period, I was not really well. I already shared in my previous post that there were a lot of triggers that I didn't process causing my emotional instability. But I'm so much better now. I bet that freedive helped me mute the noisy world above.

I hope you'll enjoy this video!

Thanks Jan! Charot

Amazing, how beautiful is the underwater world. Great video, and I like the song you chose, very calming and pleasant video to watch 🙂

Indeed! I can't get over with the spectacle underwater. Thank you! I didn't choose the song though. It was @indayclara who chose the song, although I told her to choose an acoustic, calming vibe. I was also impressed by her choice!

@indayclara made a really good choice ...girls know better sometimes 😉😄 or at least as a girl I liked it a lot. You guys are awesome, keep enjoying life. ❤

Thank you! Will do! Life is meant to enjoyed to the fullest.

Underwater is really beautiful. Lucky are those who get the chance to see them in person. As for me, I am happy just seeing its beauty on celphone or computer screens. I think I really can't survive underwater.

You must try it at least once! It's different in person compared to just watching from the screen.

How I wish I will really be able to try it someday.

I can have a pleasure of coral reefs diving too - but only watching BBC videos, sadly 😍

That is my greatest dream since teenage years. Sadly, I have no opportunity for this. Destiny arranged my birth at the worst distance for doing this : =)

You should do it in person! It's awesome!

What a nice video ❤️. I do not know if in Argentina there will be waters so clear as to record something like that, I doubt it. Maybe in the south but the water must be freezing 😂.

And the title immediately reminded me of Taylor's song, which by the way I've been listening to it on a loop for several days 😅.

Great work. Greetings 💕.

From what I see in documentaries, Argentina has so much to explore and see. Maybe the lakes? But I agree with the freezing waters. Maybe in the summer?

Taylor the Patron Saint of Productivity! I'm not a Swiftie, but I admire her productivity! Like I aspire to be a content creator with at least half of her drive and passion. You listening to All Too Well on the loop is so relatable! My friends are going crazy for that song!

Have a great day!

Your doing it again @ybanezkim26 your making it very tempting for me to get out there maybe after the monsoon period 👍

You should! Koh Samui is one of the places I want to visit.

I will look into it more for sure funny you mention Koh Sanui, I was there 3 weeks ago I must have walked at least 60 kilometers around various parts of this amazing island I have done a couple of posts already about this island but still have a couple more posts to do yet.

The underwater world looks really great. I would like to know how it feels to swim with such long fins;)

I find it difficult to move at first, but I eventually learned to move easily with it. Now, I felt I can't swim properly without fins.

you also make it look really easy. haha i can imagine that. after swimming with fins and then without it feels a bit naked for me too;)
