Trying to get through the storm of life which is inevitable and also the storm is just like a challenge which one will surely pass through in the journey of life and no matter how one will plan it, there is no way one will not pass through challenges which is tagged as the storm. So as regarding the topic which was chosen for the week initiative and also this is my first time of joining in the initiative after finding out the community through engagement and i decided to join in the initiative and i will be using my own case as an example in the post which i will be using as my entry.
When going through the storm of life which is actually not inevitable there are some things which should be taken into consideration because that will help to pass through that phase successfully even with hard and rough way. One of the things to always take note is that preparation of things that might want to happen in the future and getting the solution at hand. I will be talking about when i was little and all things that one have been through till this present moment.
So during the tender age, one can never think of passing through challenges because one couldnt tell that life will still bring a lot of difficulties. So i remembered when i was in jss3 and that was when my dad retired from work so things were not moving as it was before and i could not imagine life treating a very young boy like me that way, then it got to the stage where i could not pay my school fees even then which i was among the first people who always get the school fees paid and i was now part of the people that they do send home from school. I pass through that stage till i graduated from secondary school and i was about writing my jamb examination, i sat for the exam and i passed and i was admitted into the tertiary institution and what deprived me of going for the admission was because of money, i actually gave up on trying to further my education because there was no sponsor, i did a lot of labour work just to get some things to cater for myself so i waited for another year forfeiting the admission which i was given due to money issue.
The following year i applied again for another school and i sat for the exam which i score more than the cut off mark and i was given admission this time again and i went for accepting it not knowing that was only the begining of challenges which i will still face further and to sustain myself in School was another challenge for me again as there was no one to run to help in doing some financial stuff in the school and this time around i knew life is more than just the way i see it, there are lot of challenges to be faced and because I was not prepared enough for it made it look like it more than me and there was nothing i could actually do. Surely storm will occur but the way we are prepared for it will determine if it will overshadow us. Love to invite @the-lead and @timi01 to join the initiative.
