Life is not a bed of roses, some days are good, some days are terrible. Some days we win, some days we fail.

“Giving up” is one of the phrases people use when they have tried and failed. It is a phrase that means I have reached the end of my strength, I am not going further.

At one point or the other I am sure we have used it. Truly, it is not something anyone prays to experience in the pursuit of his or her goals in life.

Naturally, people will try to encourage and motivate you to keep going when you start using that phrase because they know that if they should let you concede defeat, that might be the end for you in the pursuit of that very thing.

Personally, I don't take “no” in any form for an answer regarding my pursuits in life, I can fail a million times yet come back and try one more time.

One lesson life taught me early is that those who give up don't ever get to see the end of the matter. What good will it do me to put in so much effort in a thing, then give up subsequently because it does seem to pay off?

I am the one losing if you check it out critically. Even if we don't spend money as part of the sacrifices we make to see something come into reality, the effort we make, the sleepless nights, the restlessness is also a big resource that we should not afford to lose.

Many times in my life I have encountered tough situations that I thought I was not going to make it to the end but eventually, I made it.

Some years back I just graduated from college, that excitement of finally finishing school was all over me. I was full of hope and energy.

Graduating with a good grade even made things more comforting as I thought job would locate me easily. But months later, reality began to dawn on me.

My account balance shrank till there was nothing there. I began dropping applications in different places but no job came.

My friends and acquaintances were making waves, accomplishing things and celebrating wins but i was stuck with an empty account and no job.

Some of you can relate to this, life was like hell. At a point I had to stop coming online on social media and going outside because it was as if life was rubbing shame on my face.

But you know what? I refused to let situation win. The pains and shame pushed me towards facing life heads on rather than quiting.

I continued submitting applications and trying different things. Eventually, I got a teaching job but before then I got exposed to web3 and things began taking shape.

I am no where near where I want to be in life yet, but looking back from where I began, all I can say is that giving up is not an option for anyone.

Regardless of the situation, holding tight and making steps even when the wind appears to blow the strongest is the best decision we can make in our lives.

Giving up is like missing out on something we almost are about to get. Sometimes, people give up when they are almost hitting it but just a little push will do wonders. The most important thing for us is to know where we put our strength in because yes, it’s very easy to give up when one’s strength cannot hold it in and that’s because they tend to do it with their own strength and not divine.

You are right giving up is like letting go just when we are about to get it right and seriously, we need divine help too because our strengths are funny, sometimes they fail just when we need them the most.
