MY HIVE INTRODUCTION POST: emaakogwu

Hi guys! I'm thrilled to be here. I'm new to this community and I will be very delighted to share with you my information so you can get to know me more.

MY AUTOBIOGRAPHY

My name is Onoja Emmanuel Akogwu but I'm known here as @Emaakogwu. I hailed from Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State, Nigeria. A state known as the Food Basket of the Nation, rich in agricultural productions and lots more.

CHILDHOOD AND UPBRINGING

I have the privilege to brought up by godly and well disciplined parents who always want to see their son behave in such a way and manner that will not bring embarrassment to their name and pedigree. Being found in such a regimented set up did not afford me the luxury of time and space to live life by my own terms of which I live to appreciate and forever be grateful to them for such environment they created for me. If I had the world to myself, I would have been someone different entirely in behavior and conduct by now.

Seeing others being born with a silver spoon in their mouth was not my case at all. I didn't have the privilege that comes with having all that one needs when need arises. What I was given, I make do with it. Godliness with contentment was one of the virtues I was exposed to on time.

I was thought to be responsible as the man that I am. I can now see that all these trainings I was given is to make me a complete and total man. When I look at my upbringing today, I'm so much full of gratitude to my parents for such disciplinary lifestyle I went through.

I can now know what life is all about, what to focus and commit my energy to, what not to give attention to. God bless them richly.

Equipped with extensive background in versatile education environments. Student-centric instructor, acadmmic facilitator and motivational coach. Competent at performing independently or as member of teaching team. Well-versed in classroom and online technologies. To seek and maintain full-time or part-time position that offers professional challenges utilizing interpersonal skills, excellent time management and problem-solving skills.

Some of my other skills are but not limited to Public Speaking,Critical Thinking, Willingness to learn, Digital Literacy, Microsoft Offices, Behavior Management, Inter-Personal Relationship,Motivation Excellent Communication, People Management Leadership. I have zero tolerance for mediocrity in my career. I'm committed to building my career to best practices.

EDUCATION

I attended my Primary Education in Pilot Science Primary School and proceeded to Otukpa Community Secondary School, for my Secondary Education all in Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State, Nigeria. With passion to further my education and build a career for myself, I went for my tertiary education in the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria where I had the Bachelor's of Science Education degree with Second Class Upper Division.

I had the opportunity especially in my university education days to connect with great minds such as Professors from different disciplines, intellectuals, geniuses and people from all works of life. Relating with these people made me to see life from different perspectives. Learning, unlearning and relearning was all what I committed myself to. I never thought I knew enough. My passion was to grow and evolve into superior versions of myself. I thank God that I didn't waste those days.

Having completed my University Education, I was shortlisted for the compulsory one year National Service of which I counted a great privilege and honor to serve my father land. I served in the South Eastern State of Nigeria. I maximized every opportunity that was presented to me. Not hailing from that region of the Nation alone presented alot of challenges my way which I trusted God for wisdom to navigate my way through them which eventually gave me victory.

I saw new way of life of people from different tribes and tongues. I like seeing new things come my way. I took advantage of it and learnt new way of life of people not to talk about the food they eat. I had opportunity to serve in leadership position during my service year which gave me the opportunity to make lasting impacts in the lives of my fellow Corp members and the community at large. My service year is full of memories.

RELATIONSHIP AND FAMILY

I'm privileged to come from a family of ten, four boys and four girls with my parents inclusive. I assume the sixth position in my family.

PERSONAL GROWTH AND SELF DISCOVERY

I have insatiable passion and appetite for growth and self development. My journey into self development started when i saw the need for self improvements. It dawned on me that, there's a version of me that the world is waiting for. I believe there's more to life and in life.

One of the mindsets that I strongly uphold in the school of growth and personal development is that success and achievements are not pursuits. They are what you attract to yourself by the reason of who you are becoming. Results and possibilities are gravitated to you by growth. I keep chasing growth and personal development as if I don't have tomorrow to do so. My vision in leadership came through via growth.

I have taken leadership positions across different strata of life by growth. I have received different commendations and awards by growth. I became an Associate Member of the Young Global Leaders Network by growth and personal development. I like hanging around people who inspire me. I hate mediocrity. I am a leader per excellence.

CHALLENGES AND TRIUMPHS

There's no victorious life without challenges and obstacles. I have experienced different challenges in the journey of life and destiny but thanks be to God Who causes me to triumph in all ways. Challenges are inevitable but your attitude towards them determines your victory. Challenges will not kill you rather make you stronger and better. I have been made better and stronger by exposure to life's challenges. The triumphs I have received came by enduring the process of hardships and trainings. I'm thankful to God today because He allowed me to encounter challenges in my journey of life and destiny. They didn't kill me rather made me a stronger man.

HIVE EXPERIENCE

It all started when my brother @hively exposed me to the fact that I can relate with the global community, share ideas, thoughts and updates that can benefit the masses and in turn helps you to generate income from it. I see that this project aligns with my vision of making my thoughts, ideas and knowledge reach the ends of the earth for the masses to consume for their benefit. Hive is also a platform where we get to earn from the skills, talents, updates etc we showcased. This is so beautiful right! I know I will make global impacts through hive. I promise to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations guilding the hive community.

CONCLUSION

I'm really thrilled to be on Hive. Thanks to my dear brother and friend @hively for introducing me to this community. I genuinely celebrate everyone in this space. I'm a newbie here. I look forward to receiving the best that comes with this community. I truly love you all.
