I have to seat myself down to think of what to write on anger management.
Anger can be a difficult emotion to experience because of your upbringing, societal norms and fear of its potential intensity. While anger is also a valuable emotion, you may need to adjust your reaction to it to prevent harm to yourself and others.
Funny enough I must confess that I don't easily get upset and I can't even recall when last I got upset. Little things don't seems to bother me at all. And I hardly get angry with people over certain issues. Nevertheless if by chance I find myself in a situation that trigger me to get upset, I will develop few strategies to help me calm myself down. My first approach will be taking a walk or quietly go to my room and play my guitar. These approach will help me shift my focus away from what got me upset and calm my mind down.
Talking a walk might be a very simple and effective way for one to manage anger. Being around nature, and breathing in fresh air can so much help to in calming the mind.
Playing my guitar is another activity that helps me to manage anger. Generally music have a way of bringing joy and calming the mind. Focusing on the melody alone is another thing, the rhythm, and the sound of the the guitar produces. Music helps me to express my emotions in a good manner.
I have seen people who get angry end up hurting there selves or hurting others, I remember my friend using harsh words to his pregnant girlfriend over a little matter because he was upset, and that cost him his relationship, unmanaged anger can lead one to regrettable actions. Is very good for everyone to find healthy ways to manage his or her anger
I must confess we are all unique beings and what works for one might not work for the other person. It is important for everyone to find a healthy way to cope with anger.
Anger management is a journey that doesn't just start, it takes process and it's good for one to take it step at a time. Anger is a natural emotion and yes every living being was created with it, but is left for use to work towards it in other to improve our mood and enhance over well being.
