My New Year Resolution, Keeping It Simple.

Hello friends, how are we all doing today?

Once again you are all welcome to the new year.

Many people see the new year as another opportunity to start a new life, or another time for a new beginning. This is the period were people set lots of goals and tell themselves what they would want to achieve. Sometimes these goals might be realistic or unrealistic ones, but who cares, since it seems like a trend, everyone wants to jump on it and don't want to be left out of the big things they feel that they can achieve.

Making a new resolution is very easy, but putting up the discipline to achieve these goals is not as easy as it may sound. I think the action part of the new year resolutions we make is the hardest. This is the part where most of us struggle a lot.

Some of us make effort to achieve what we have written down in the new year. Some tried and stop halfway, some never even try. Only few can end the year, and beat their chest that they achieve most of what they wrote in their new year resolutions. I would not count myself out, I am also a victim of those kind of people who write down goals that they kind not achieve. Or would I say I don't have the capacity or discipline to achieve these goals that I just wrote down.

These year I have decided to keep the resolution simple. Gone are those years when I wrote a long list of what to achieve and end up achieving none. This year things had to change. I made it simple so that I can focus on what truly matters.

My new year resolutions

  1. Serve my country

First of all, I want to thank God for helping me to complete my degree program in college. By God's grace, I am now a graduate. And also I want to thank my parents for their full support.

I entered the year in the process of serving my country. I'm currently a corper who is serving in one of the south west State, known as Osun state in Nigeria. My first aim is to serve my country well and finish successful, then I can know what next to take on in my life and how my career would look like. It has not been easy due to stress and training we undergo in the camp, but it is necessary and I believe I will overcome just like others.

  1. Start a poultry farm.

As a graduate of Agriculture Engineering, I have wanted to start a poultry farm, this has been one of my plan after finishing school, and I also included it in my new resolution.

A poultry should be one of the lucrative business in country right now looking on how things is going country. Last year Christmas I could barely afford to buy a chicken due to how expensive it was. If I had a poultry farm, I should not have struggled to get a chicken for my Christmas celebration, and I would have also make gains from selling them to others.

This business is not an easy one too, because you can make a huge loss. If any disease hits your fowls or fishes, then the losses might be terrible to recover. It is a gradual process, we have to start from somewhere and see how it goes with time.

  1. Content creation

While in school, me and my guys usually got involved in content creation. We use to create content for fun back then, but could not carry on full time due to our academics and studies.

So, me and my friends have all planned and decided to take the content creation to another level, that if we are still together. This time we want to enter into the business of content creation.

It is not going to be easy, right now everyone wants to become a content creator, which even makes it even harder to succeed in the game. The entertainment industry is never an easy one, you have to strive very hard to make it there. Nevertheless, I believe with hard work and determination we will get there.

If you are asking which kind of content I create?... I do comedy, and I also sing and rap, but my major focus is on the comedy.

Like I said earlier, my new year resolutions are not much, I want to keep it short, so I can focus I put in the work. I hope to achieve something this year runs out.

What about you, hope you have started acting on your new year resolutions?
