Hello everyone @hive-reachout I'm excited to drop what I call my new year resolutions but firstly, new year resolution is as big as part of my life as New year celebration. Having my new resolution is to be proud and share my knowledge with others. New resolution is important to me because I must have a purpose or a goal. Also the New year resolution is a portion I want to achieve it is what I promise myself and this 2024.

It is actually a good time that I learned from my past mistakes and set new strategies and new goals. There are basically two resolutions out want to set and by God grace achieve before the end of 2025.

One of my New Year's resolutions is to set a financial goal. Financial goals are targets or things a person wants to achieve with their money in the future. These goals differ from person to person and may change over the course of a person's lifetime. Financial goals can be for different lengths of time, and for different amounts of money. Having a budget, or a financial plan, goes a long way in helping someone achieve their financial goals. Savings and spending habits, earning income and investing are all things to consider when trying to reach a financial goal.

Admittedly, I need to work on this aspect of my life, as I have a tendency to be a reckless spender. I'm just a 25 thousand naira salary earner and I'm proud to say I get cash gifts from friends work 50k every month but the tendency at which I spend is not something if want to talk about.

Setting financial goals is important to make sure money is being spent and saved wisely. I just need to think about what I hope to accomplish and plan accordingly before 2025 start up.

Secondly my new year resolution is to focus on reading more books. Reading is very important and reading can actually take to another world and help me deal with my daily worries. Reading refreshes the soul and helps me to keep my mind active.

After my NCE program, I've been sluggish about reading books, a habit I'm eager to revive with the help of God. But God doesn't help a man who isn't ready to help himself. Recognizing this, I've decided to take deliberate steps towards rekindling my love for reading.

To start, I've set a goal to read at least one book per month, focusing on topics that interest me. I've also created a schedule to ensure I dedicate time each day to reading. It won't be easy, but I'm committed to making progress and holding myself accountable.

With persistence and determination, I'm confident that I'll not only revive my reading habit but also develop a newfound appreciation for knowledge and personal growth in 2025.

Talking about financial goals, from the book I read, titled "Richest man in Babylon" the writer said, I would not be one of those who stand afar off, enviously watching others enjoy the benefits of their labour, a part of all I earn is mine to keep.
An interesting piece
