New plans for the cave/tent living community van (2024.09.10)

in Daily Blog9 days ago

A few months ago the community planned to fix the Nissan Vanette Cargo 2.3 D.

This is the cave/tent living community van.

Since then we realized that economically it is not worth it.

The fix currently would cost approximately €800 Euro.

And probably another thing would appear to be fixed a few months later, which would cost €1000 Euro, and so on.

The community already spent thousands of Euros on it.

This van currently has the annual insurance, but currently it is not working.

It is staying in the same place for approximately half a year by now.

This van is an economical bankruptcy.

Currently we are thinking about recycling it.

Maybe modifying it to a hippie accomodation.

The battery almost certainly will be removed from the car. That can be used in one way or another.

If anyone have any recycle (or any other) ideas about this van, then I would happily read it.

If something will happen with this van, then I will document it.

Maybe it will continue to stay in the same place for additional months.

Maybe we will do something with it.

Maybe we will simply take it to the car dismantler on a trailer.

We will see.

Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.

Very interesting. Yeah dude, I would turn it into a private te living space, or a social commons area to be enjoyed on rainy days!

Tipping 6 HSBI to help support the effort.

Stay well my friend!

We already have a community cave with three beds.

But probably it is still a good idea to build some kind of (either private or for guests) accomodation with community van.

Thank you for the 6 HSBI tip.

That's awesome dude! ...what about a library? You could build shelves inside the vehicle and use it as a dry place to collect and store books!

Happy to help man, I'll try and keep the HSBI coming from time to time :)

The library is also a good idea. We already have a few books in the community cave.

lol - why am I not surprised! You guys have done some amazing work out there!
