Since the night before, I was informed that I had to go to Juan Griego for work. I like that because the road and the scenery are lovely. As a nature lover, I enjoy the scenery very much. I associate nature with life and positivism, and I feel that way. I believe that if she gives us the gift of showing us her splendor, we have to see it with the best glass, and that's what I do every day. Like anyone, I have days when things do not go as you want, but I try to throw those bad moments in the imaginary sack I carry on my back and look ahead with my best smile.

Desde la noche anterior, me comunicaron que tenía que ir a Juan Griego por trabajo. Eso me gusta porque el camino y el paisaje son encantadores. Como amante de la naturaleza, disfruto mucho del paisaje. La naturaleza la asocio con vida y positivismo, y así lo siento. Creo que si ella nos da el regalo de mostrarnos su esplendor, hay que verlo con el mejor cristal, y eso hago cada día. Como cualquier persona, tengo días en los que las cosas no salen como uno quiere, pero trato de echar esos malos momentos en el saco imaginario que llevo en mi espalda y mirar de frente con mi mejor sonrisa.
Well, the weather today was ideal, not too hot and not too cool, it was a tolerant climate. I headed to La Asunción to drop off a neighbor who was running late to take her son to school. From there I went to look for the Portachuelo road to go to Juan Griego, but some streets were closed for activities dedicated to Rose month. So I had to walk through some of the narrow streets of La Asuncion, which after all I liked how colorful the houses are painted, with a bit of colonial style.
Pues bien, el clima hoy estaba ideal, no muy caliente ni muy fresco, era un clima tolerante. Me dirigí a La Asunción para dejar a una vecina que se le hacía tarde para llevar a su hijo a la escuela. De ahí salí a buscar la carretera de Portachuelo para ir a Juan Griego, pero algunas calles estaban cerradas por actividades dedicadas al mes Rosa. Así que tuve que recorrer algunas de las estrechas calles de La Asunción, que después de todo me gustó lo coloridas que están pintadas sus casas, con un estilo un poco colonial.
I managed to grab the Portachuelo to head to my destination. I was going calmly because I had enough time, since I was expected at 10:00 AM and I left home at 6:45 AM. As I passed by Santa Ana, I saw that the municipal government was painting and weeding part of the avenue. The truth is that it was looking very beautiful. Many people are getting ready for Christmas and are starting to make everything beautiful and colorful. That is the joy of this time of the year.
Logré agarrar el Portachuelo para dirigirme a mi destino. Iba tranquila porque tenía tiempo suficiente, ya que me esperaban a las 10:00 AM y salí de casa a las 6:45 AM. Al pasar por Santa Ana, vi que la alcaldía municipal estaba pintando y desmalezando parte de la avenida. La verdad es que estaba quedando muy hermosa. Ya muchos se preparan para la Navidad y están comenzando a poner todo bello y colorido. Eso es lo alegre de esta época del año.
In the end, I arrived at my destination, handed in the estimate and they agreed to let me know to do the job. It was already 1:30 PM and I was looking for a place to eat my lunch. They suggested La Estancia shopping mall, which I had already visited on another occasion. Inside this mall there was a place that sold drinks and had comfortable tables. It was the ideal place to take a break.
Al final, llegué a mi destino, entregué el presupuesto y quedaron en avisar para hacer el trabajo. Ya eran las 1:30 PM y estaba buscando un lugar para comer mi almuerzo. Me sugirieron el centro comercial La Estancia, que ya había visitado en otra oportunidad. Dentro de este centro comercial había un local que vendía bebidas y tenía cómodas mesas. Era el lugar ideal para tomar un descanso.
I was struck by the way the place was decorated. It was very original.
Me llamó la atención cómo estaba decorado el local. Era muy original.
I ordered a soft drink called Manzanita, which has the Matelba flavor I drank in my childhood. Enjoying the lunch, the soda and the fresco, I had an ideal time.
Pedí un refresco llamado Manzanita, que tiene el sabor a Matelba que tomé en mi infancia. Disfrutando del almuerzo, el refresco y el fresco, pasé un momento ideal.
When I finished, as I was satisfied and the moment of weakness for not having lunch on time had passed, I started my way back, very calm, appreciating the scenery.
During the way back, seeing the beautiful landscape that surrounded me, I thought how in the midst of the daily hustle and bustle, we sometimes forget to stop and appreciate the beautiful views that nature shows us, many times I stop but sometimes the daily hustle and bustle consumes me.
Al terminar, como ya estaba satisfecha y el instante de debilidad por no almorzar a tiempo había pasado, emprendí mi recorrido de vuelta, muy calmada, apreciando el paisaje.
Durante el camino de regreso, viendo el paisaje tan bello que me rodeaba, pensé como en medio del ajetreo diario, olvidamos en ocasiones detenernos y apreciar las bellas vistas que nos muestra la naturaleza, muchas veces me detengo pero en ocasiones el ajetreo diario me consume.
