It's Saturday, and with it comes that well-deserved break we've been longing for after an intense but rewarding week of work. Friday marked the end of our first fortnight of work in December, and we did so with the satisfaction of having achieved our goals. There's no better feeling than looking back and seeing that every effort, every day, every little detail, has been worth it. I sincerely hope that your week has been as good as the Christmas atmosphere that can be felt in every corner, with twinkling lights, more frequent smiles, and that air of hope that only December can bring.
This Friday, as part of our weekly routine, we headed to the beautiful Ecoland hotel to carry out the corresponding chlorination and deliver some special details. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the enthusiasm and warmth that characterizes the staff at this place. It is a real pleasure to work with people who not only do their job well, but do it with a smile and an attitude that spreads joy.
Ya es sábado, y con él llega ese merecido respiro que tanto anhelamos después de una semana de trabajo intensa pero gratificante. El viernes que recién culminó marcó el cierre de nuestra primera quincena laboral del mes de diciembre, y lo hicimos con la satisfacción de haber cumplido nuestras metas. No hay mejor sensación que mirar atrás y ver que cada esfuerzo, cada jornada, cada pequeño detalle, ha valido la pena. Espero de corazón que su semana también haya sido tan buena como el ambiente navideño que se respira en cada rincón, con luces titilantes, sonrisas más frecuentes y ese aire de esperanza que solo diciembre sabe traer.
Este viernes, como parte de nuestra rutina semanal, nos dirigimos al hermoso hotel Ecoland para realizar la cloración correspondiente y entregar algunos detalles especiales. Desde que llegamos, fuimos recibidos con el entusiasmo y la calidez que caracteriza al personal de este lugar. Es un verdadero placer trabajar con personas que no solo hacen bien su labor, sino que lo hacen con una sonrisa y una actitud que contagia alegría.
Before climbing into the main tank, our dear friend Carel, always with her unmatched charisma and attentiveness, gave us a tour of the facilities. We took the opportunity to say goodbye and congratulate some of our colleagues who are going on Christmas vacation.
Antes de subir al tanque principal, nuestra querida amiga Carel, siempre con su carisma inigualable y atenta, nos dio un recorrido por las instalaciones. Aprovechamos la oportunidad para despedirnos y felicitar a algunos compañeros por qué saldrán de vacaciones navideñas.
Visiting Ecoland is an experience that I always enjoy to the fullest. It is a place that brings me great peace, surrounded by lush nature, leafy trees, quiet trails, and corners that invite contemplation. In addition, the people are so warm and welcoming that you feel right at home, and I think that is priceless.
One of my favorite parts of the place is, without a doubt, the lagoon. It is a small paradise where, if you are lucky, you can observe exotic birds in their natural habitat. You can also enjoy activities such as water biking, boating, or kallak sliding, which makes the environment an ideal space to relax and reconnect with nature.
Recorrer Ecoland es una experiencia que siempre disfruto al maximo. Es un espacio que me transmite mucha paz, rodeado de naturaleza exuberante, árboles frondosos, senderos tranquilos y rincones que invitan a la contemplación. Además, el trato humano es tan cálido que uno se siente como en casa y considero que eso no tiene precio.
Una de mis partes favoritas del lugar es, sin duda, la laguna. Es un pequeño paraíso donde, si tienes suerte, puedes observar aves exóticas en su hábitat natural. También se puede disfrutar de actividades como montar bicicleta acuática, pasear en bote o deslizarse en kallak, lo que convierte el entorno en un espacio ideal para relajarse y reconectar con la naturaleza.
Although the sky was not completely clear that day, the landscape was still spectacular. The gray clouds did not manage to overshadow the beauty of the surroundings or our good spirits.
During our tour, we greeted our paddle tennis friends and other colleagues from different areas of the hotel. Finally, we arrived at the tank we had to chlorinate. Fortunately, everything went according to plan. We were able to complete our routine without any setbacks, which is always a cause for joy. I even had the opportunity to take some photos that I will soon share with you so you can see a little of what we experienced that day.
Aunque el cielo no estaba completamente despejado ese día, el paisaje seguía siendo espectacular. Las nubes grises no lograron opacar la belleza del entorno ni nuestro buen ánimo.
Durante nuestro recorrido, saludamos a los amigos del pádel y a otros compañeros de las distintas áreas del hotel. Finalmente, llegamos al tanque que debíamos clorar. Afortunadamente, todo salió según lo planeado. Pudimos completar nuestra rutina sin contratiempos, lo cual siempre es motivo de alegría. Incluso tuve la oportunidad de tomar algunas fotos que pronto compartiré con ustedes para que puedan ver un poco de lo que vivimos este día.
With our hearts full and our spirits filled with Christmas cheer, we decided to end the day with lunch at Pollo Feliz, a cozy spot on Bolívar Street in the Marcano district of Juan Griego, Nueva Esparta state. Sharing a meal after a day's work has become a tradition that we value greatly. These moments strengthen our bonds as a team. We listen to each other, support each other, celebrate each other's achievements, and talk about how to continue growing together. It is in these spaces that one realizes that the true driving force behind a company is its people, and that when there is unity, vision, and passion, great things can be achieved.
The lunch was delicious, but beyond the flavor, what really made it special was the company. We laughed, reminisced, and simply enjoyed the moment. That's why I couldn't pass up the opportunity to share with you how we closed out this very meaningful week.
Con el corazón contento y el espíritu impregnado del ambiente navideño, decidimos cerrar la jornada con un almuerzo en “Pollo Feliz”, un lugar acogedor ubicado en la calle Bolívar, en el municipio Marcano, Juan Griego, estado Nueva Esparta. Compartir una comida después de una jornada de trabajo se ha convertido en una tradición que valoramos mucho. Estos momentos fortalecen nuestros lazos como equipo. Nos escuchamos, nos apoyamos, celebramos los logros de cada uno y conversamos sobre cómo seguir creciendo juntos. Es en estos espacios donde uno se da cuenta de que el verdadero motor de una empresa es su gente, y que cuando hay unión, visión y pasión, se pueden lograr grandes cosas.
El almuerzo fue delicioso, pero más allá del sabor, lo que realmente lo hizo especial fue la compañía. Reímos, recordamos anécdotas y simplemente disfrutamos del momento. Por eso, no podía dejar pasar la oportunidad de compartir con ustedes cómo cerramos esta semana tan significativa.
