Well, I'd certainly love to go there! It always suprises me that people don't clean up rubbish where they live and work. Australia is quite a clean country like that - I mean, you do get areas of rubbish like the roadside but people tend to tidy it up themselves at least if they can, and they always tidy up where they live and work. But I guess it's different in other places, especially if there is no where to dispose of the rubbish or people are too busy trying to earn a living.

Cleanliness often comes down to systems as much as mindset. In many places here, proper waste disposal isn’t easily accessible, and people are simply focused on getting through the day. When disposal options are limited, it becomes much harder, even for people who care.
Yeah, I have to remind myself that. It's easy to judge from another culture entirely. But there's always a reason.
