Exploring Padangbai Harbour Before Meeting My Clients

I arrived early at Padangbai Harbour to pick up my clients, who were arriving from Gili T Island on a fast boat. With some time to spare, I decided to explore the busy harbor.

The traffic was heavy inside the harbor, with many cars coming to pick up people from the boats. Outside it was less busy, I noticed a street with restaurants on one side and diving activity offices in some of them.

Just beyond the street, I found Padangbai Beach. The white sand and parked boats were a picturesque sight, ready to take adventurers snorkeling or diving nearby. It was a peaceful contrast to the busy harbor area.

It was the middle of the day, and I was getting hungry. The timing was a bit awkward for a decent lunch, but I managed to find a meatball soup seller on a motorcycle. I stopped him and bought some meatball soup. It didn’t taste very good, but it didn’t matter much. As long as I had a quick lunch, I was okay. .

The harbor itself was quite small, with boats coming in and out in an organized queue. Only one fast boat could dock at a time, so the others had to wait their turn to unload passengers.

Well, I had visited Padangbai Harbour before for a different reason—bringing my clients for diving at Padangbai Beach. But this time, I was waiting for clients to arrive, and after a one-and-a-half-hour delay, they finally came.

Exploring Padangbai Harbour was an unexpected adventure, maybe it can be said it's a little extra charm to my day of work. 😁
