Literary exercise for me

in Daily Blog2 months ago

Havana, September 5, 2024.

Stand up. Wake up. It was just a heavy dream, a confirmation of your fears. But who doesn't have them? You gasped as if you were punched in the stomach.

It hurts... it hurts because there is fire imprisoned inside my body. I beg forgiveness, my soul, I can't let go of the impossible, and I'm still the fool who longs for a blue embrace.

You fall into a spiral you can't get out of. The woman took everything inside the bag and left it huddled in the dust.

I know because I came back, in a hurry, when I noticed I didn't have it with me.

And when you asked, a little girl, very tiny, pointed to her house.

It hurts. Damn, how it hurts. There were many things there, and not only mine.

You knock on the door, but no one answers.

What am I doing in the street feeling sick?

You're awake now, forget. It was also hard for me to understand why the virus was in my nightmare.

Some facts

I thought I had the super power not to get sick in the middle of a complex epidemiological situation here in Cuba... I never had Dengue fever before, nor did I suffer from Covid19... and now I don't know what I have, but something has caught me. Oropouche, could it be? It came in through one of those rickety doors we usually have... I'm made of butter hahaha.... 😬😄
It's time to secure them all now and get back on my feet to continue telling stories. I miss my bike, but with all the fatigue, fever and other weird things I'm feeling, I shouldn't be out on it.

I made a little trip to be present at my mother's birthday on the 3rd of September. Oh, but believe me I haven't been able to write. It's not easy when you feel like your body is boiling, and it feels like you're wearing a coat of tiny needles and you can't take it off.

Words will come, as I get better. Beautiful things happen that deserve to be told, like when a butterfly, on the way home, got stuck in my parents' car. We had stopped because something had gone wrong with one of the rear wheels. It landed on my finger by itself. I thought it wanted me to release it, but it stayed there for a while before it flew away.

See you, thanks for reading my ramblings ;)

'Least you didn't turn left instead of right and pedal off a cliff, that would be sickening.

But my angel, I haven't cycled for ages... 😣
Since 23 August 🙁

I think this is what has made me ill, I hope to recover so I can get back on my bike and breathe freedom.

Gracias, @sucetmaga64. Ya estoy casi recuperada 🙂

Es un placer, gracias por su tiempo. 🦋🌻🫶😋😉

Another little butterfly?? Maybe a sign.

I hope you recover quickly. Sick sucks.

Apparently a visitor from another dimension wishing me a speedy recovery.

Thank you. See you later.

Abrazo de vuelta.

... the butterfly ... it was once a caterpillar ... a remarkable metamorphosis. Wishing you lots health and a smooth expansion 😉❤️

Yes, incredible things in nature that make us think about our own lives.
Thank you @kriszrokk.

I send you a little feather to get well soon 🦉 it's very ugly to feel hot and not in the good sense of the word... I caught the ramblings haha 😂

😂 ¡Ay qué risa me ha dado esto! Gracias Buhito. ☺️🤗

Drink plenty of fluids, stay hydrated, and if you can, eat soups, they are easier to digest and are better tolerated during these phases of fever and fatigue.

Keep in mind that sometimes super powers are depleted, and you need to rest to recharge them.

The butterfly felt safe in your fingers, the warmth of your body seduced it to rest the fatigue of its flight, they are so beautiful!
I took some pictures of them a few days ago and I found them the most beautiful.

Take care and rest @nanixxx
🌹

Yes, I saw your post and although I didn't comment I smiled for several reasons. I wish that whatever you decide and do will be for the best. You listen to your heart.

Thanks for the advice regarding my situation hahaha.... I have already made a firm resolution to get rid of this evil from my body as soon as possible. ☺️😉👋🏻

Get well soon, it is horrible to be sick but it will pass. And what a blessing you received with the butterfly 🦋

The butterfly said I'll be fine soon.

🤞🙏🏻

My question is do you feel guilty about something, or do you feel anger or rage against another or yourself? .... that would answer a lot of things besides a mosquito. An inner question that will help you.

You must not get sick, no one. Think....

Yes, I understand. I have time to think about it all now. Thoughts like storm clouds... Times of drastic changes. Clashing energies... Who knows? I have to find my centre. 🤗

Abrazo!!!

Thanks for the effort @nanixxx, rest, close doors and fly again. You get further with wings than with a motorcycle.

A big hug

Back to bed shortly, yes. Doors close with positivity and certainty, no matter how many storm clouds come to mind.

Hugs back and thanks always!

Thank you. 👌🏻

All good @nanixxx! You have what it takes to achieve this new goal on Hive! Keep it up!

Well, with these messages of encouragement that you always leave me, if I don't have what it takes, I find it. 😄✨👏🏻 Thank you again.

Get well, rest and take it easy. We will be ready for your return and you will be as well😁

I'll stay close to my friends, you included, as long as my eyes don't burn so much.... ;)

Thanks!

The butterfly let your kind fingers save it from the confinement where it was. They are so tender and very cute. It was a beautiful morning among butterflies and by your side. 🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

And your silver hair stood out among all the butterflies 🤗 😉

My dad was down with Oropouche for over a week. He says he felt weak and fatigued. Even when he seemed better, he says he got tired just walking a couple of blocks.

I recommend that you rest as much as you can and try to eat well.

It’s time to pull out those movies that were recommended to you or some series.

Hope you get well soon.♥

😢 I hope your dad has recovered, because this is terrible!

Well, yes, let's rest watching movies, there's no other way.
Thank you, @gabriel.riol. 🙂

🙂🤗

Gracias. Ahora sí ya me voy a descansar.

You should go to the doctor and find out why are you feeling sick. thats really important to make the rigth therapy....! Take a good care of your self!! see you soon!
